Golden,

I just saw your update.

I am so sorry for your loss.😓

She sounds like a wonderful daughter. You were exactly where you needed to be at that moment. Being in her Daddy’s arms, at her last moments, was the best blessing a person can ask for.

Sending prayers to you and your family. 🙏🏻🙏🏻

As a father of 2 daughter's, my heart is bleeding for you GoldenR. My prayers have always been that God would grant me the mercy of not outliving my children. Please honor her wishes to look out for her son as I know you would. Through having your grandson prosper, a part of her will always be alive with you.

I have no real words but to ensure you that you and your family are in my prayers. In time, the good of her life will outweigh the pain of her passing, but I know these words ring hollow in the wake of your loss.

Your life is but a flicker to the cosmos and only the brightest flickers are recorded by history for good or bad. Most of us just want to live our lives without being interfered with.

Golden,

I lost my daughter 8 years ago due to a condition known as Disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC). Like you I stayed by her bedside whispering in her ear to fight! She did for 36 hours and then the Doctor pulled me aside and told me there was no chance she was going to survive. Her heart was stressed and her brain scan indicated little activity.

I returned to her bedside told her how proud of her I was for the way she lived her life. Thanked her for fighting so hard to stay with us and I understood that she needed to leave. Almost immediately her vitals dropped and she passed within just a few minutes. Our entire family by her side, telling her how much we loved her.

I'm telling you this because she was unconscious the entire 36 hours and had very little brain activity. I truly believe she heard me talking to her, so I know your daughter heard you.

If there is a Compassionate Friends chapter near you, I would recommend you contact them. They are a group of Friends that have lost children. Without their Love and Guidance I'm not sure where my life would be now.

Rocko
