Places to Eat in Chicago
We're a month out from our trip to Chicago!!
I've got the place to stay and good tips on public transit... Woot Woot thanks to Sisoon...
Now I'm looking for eating recommendations...

Cooking Funny
My girlfriend got a Rachel Ray cookbook for Christmas...
She just told me she can't find anything in the book that sounds good....
Her: "She uses all these ingredients that we'd never eat"
Me: "Like what?"
Her: "Thyme, Oregano, Parsley, and some cheese I've never heard of..."
Me: "What cheese?"
Her: "parmigian-reggiano, prosciutto, garlic... stuff like that"

Cookie Party
We did it... I made chocolate chip cookies and spritz cookies.
Others brought a variety of cookies... and although there were only 6 of us baking we ended up with 11 different varieties of cookies.
We had pizza and decorated sugar cookies... well, our DS's did most of the decorating.
It was a nice time.

Fresh Brussels Sprouts
Someone... who shall remain nameless... put my fresh brussels sprouts in the freezer when we got home from the store.
Unfortunately I didn't notice right away and they're now frozen.
I need them to make Roasted Brussels Sprouts for T-day... Will they be ok or do I need to buy new ones?

Episode 1
Student: "Ya know what, I'm just not gonna do your test!"
Me: "Mmmmm Ok... it's your grade, not mine"
Student: "Hurumph"
Episode 2
Student: "I'm not coming to your class today"
Me: "Ok, I get paid regardless."
Student: - no reply.
Episode 3
Student: "I don't need to worry about school, I'm gonna play in the NFL and make Millions"
Me: "Ok, how are you gonna get to the NFL?"
Student: "I'm gonna go to college and play and get drafted."
Me: "How are you gonna get into college if you don't do well in High School?"
Student: "I got money, I can go where ever I want."

(This is a student who is 17 and in 9th grade and doesn't even play on any HS football team)
