Got my booster a week ago. I didn’t feel any symptoms after the first two shots, but the area they injected the booster is still sore to the touch a week later.
Seeing as how a colleague passed away last weekend from covid – under 40, healthy, GF and 2 kids and not vaccinated - I will take the sore arm any day.

It took about a week for my wife's soreness to dissipate. Just tried to schedule one. THe place I booked the first two is booked out to Dec 9th.

Got my booster at 4pm yesterday. All three of my vaccines were Pfizer. First two vaccines, no problems at all. Yesterday, I think I tensed up my arm because the injection was actually painful and I have a really sore arm today. Around 3 a.m. this morning I was having breathing issues and it felt like my throat was closing up -- so I just got up and stayed up until it passed, about three hours. Today I am fine except a sore arm.
I just read that only 11% of Americans have received the booster shot. I guess I'm feeling about as protected as I can be but I still plan to avoid large crowds and not go out without a mask.

I am finally getting my booster this weekend, and then the following week getting Shingrix, and then starting a new RA medication after both.
Hope they don't knock me on my arse.

Hoping for some effective early treatment for those who can't get the vaccination. There are people out there who are really scared and some of them are demonized as anti Vax. Lets hope for cures for all. Young and old. This disease looks here to stay.
Thank you everyone for your wisdom and healing.

My first 2 shots I only experienced mild fatigue and achy arm. My third shot, just an achy arm. Didn't even take a nap. I got the Moderna.
ETA: I forgot to mention I got my shingles shot a few days before my booster and my flu shot about a week and a half before the booster. Not sure if that is relevant. I honestly can't recall having any extreme reactions to any vaccinations other than a sore arm. A few times I had a slight fever with a flu shot, but it was like 99. Being military for 21 years, I've had a lot more vaccination than the average person.

I got my booster yesterday. I am experiencing headache, pretty bad fatigue, arm pain and muscle pain.
I only had arm pain with the first two. All three were Moderna.
I'm thankful I was able to get an appointment!!

I have been singing (yes, singing) unmasked with my chorale (we are at greatly reduced numbers and require vaccination and encourage boosters).
None of us (I believe we are around 30, which is generally half our normal number) have been ill. None. I was exposed last weekend and tested negative. My next door neighbors are sick and they are both compromised--he has lung damage from 9/11 and she has both diabetes and Parkinson's. They have both gotten the monoclonal antibodies, but it's too soon to tell if that's going to help them. They're both pretty sick with it.
I had no responses to my two Pfizer shots nor to the booster. Go figure.

My wife and I got the first two Pfizer shots end of April / May. Got the Pfizer booster last Friday. Sore arms for a day or two was the only side effect we had. There are plenty of appointments available around here at just about every drugstore of grocery pharmacy. First time I ever got a shot in a Walgreens! Of course, the first two shots were in a middle school cafeteria

My first two shots were Pfizer. Mild side effect with first shot; 2nd shot kicked my butt for several days. Just EXTREMELY tired and literally slept for 18 hours after 2nd shot.
Got booster 12/15 and it was Moderna. No side effects at all except sore arm.

I received my 3rd Moderna shot right before Thanksgiving.
The 1st shot, I was tired and took an afternoon nap.
The 2nd shot, I felt achy and flu-like for a few days.
With the 3rd shot, I chose to also get the shingles vaccine at the same time. I felt miserable for about 2 days. I couldn't sleep the first night. The shingrix arm hurt much worse than the covid vaccine arm. I had a constant headache for 2 days. I also had some weird nausea where I would be hungry but feel sick after smelling or eating one bite. I'm not sure which vaccine had that side effect. After that I felt achy for a day or two but fairly normal.
It's worth it.
All of my immediately family is passing around a bad cold or flu this past week or two.

I got my first two through work, but then I was walking down an alley and there were these two guys who looked like they were self vaccinating, so I asked them if that's what they were doing?
They've said, suuuuurrrrre, so I asked if I could get in on it. Can never be too safe I say.
Side-effects were great 👍

Had a sore arm and the flu for Christmas Day. Took some Tylenol and slept and snacked. Feeling great today and catching up on the leftover wine and snacks.

Covid/Booster update:
My mid 20's son got boosted a week before he got exposed at work, five got sick from one person. No symptoms from the booster other than slight sore arm, and after positive covid rapid test, mild cold symptoms, much milder than his symptoms when sick pre-vaccine in 2020. His boosted girlfriend tested positive, thought her symptoms were allergies. Been hearing a lot of that, or it's just a cold. They know 10 others with positive tests right now, all rapid as the PCR tests are hard to get.
Mid 20's daughter, 7 months out from second shot, not yet boosted, but days from her flu shot, many negative covid tests but the worst respiratory cold symptoms, fatigue and dizziness of her life. Both room mates had same symptoms, rapid tests negative. I'm guessing they all had covid, it's rampant in the midwest us, and guessing the booster did it's job for one of them. Daughter is still planning on getting the booster when well. Both have Moderna vaccine.
As far as we know, none of these cases are being tracked by the city or state, and aren't part of the data we look at online. I suspect the infection rates are high, but hospitalizations not as frequent as with previous variants. Good news/bad news maybe?
Stay safe out there.

Son had 2 Moderna (I think) shots early on, since he's teaching. To avoid losing work because of likely symptoms, he planned on getting his booster on 12/24, the first day of Christmas vacation. Instead, he got a positive test on 12/22 or 12/23.
Within a few days, he had the worst sore throat he ever had. His oxygen level seems to have gone no lower than 96. A week later, he feels like he recovered from the flu. He's single, and he's been able to take care of himself, but it was just basic needs at first.
Wishes he had gotten his booster earlier.

I had a Pfizer booster on Dec 18th. The stepson last Monday. Symptoms for both was basically just arm pain. FWIW, I'm pretty sure I've had some exposure over the last few weeks as Covids ran through a few of my social circles including ones with heavy anti-vax beliefs. No symptoms to warrant testing and as a introvert on holiday break I was already isolating.
