The only thing that comes off faster than my bra is my mask.

I have to wear one. Partly because, like Mrs Walloped, I breastfed babies and my mammary accessories definitely call attention to themselves. And mostly because as a nurse I’m still wearing white tops most of the time. And nobody needs (or wants) to see this. 😂

HFSSC, 'nobody wants to see that.'

I was in court recently and a custody case was about to start. A Grandmother seeking custody of a grandchild. She's 40 and a stripper. I overheard the judge tell the bailiff to advise the grandmother if she showed up in court again without underwear and wearing a short dress, he would not hear her case. The child welfare attorney told me they were so sick of seeing her nipples and her bending over and showing her bare bottom in previous hearings.

Jeanie you just reminded me of a coworker of mine from YEARS ago. She was close to 70 and had been a stripper in her younger days. She still had an impressive rack but I don’t know what sort of bra she had to wear to keep them pointed straight.

She could get her boobs circling in opposite directions, no lie. She demonstrated for me one day (clothed, mercifully 😂😂

Sorry for the T/J. Carry on. 😂😂😂😂

Y'all have had me laughing all day, I needed that. When I was in milk production mode I lived in nursing tanks, for 4 1/2 years with the middle 1 1/2 years tandem nursing, all that got me to sort of, barely a B, maybe. I hate being cold and that is the only time the nipple thing is a problem, so a jacket or bra fixes that. I did learn this summer that braless bike riding is awesome! Sweat does a much better job of evaporating and cooling. It's like the feeling of riding without a helmet but much safer.

Stick on nipple covers? Nope.

I went shoe shopping this morning (getting too cold for flip-flops). Wandering thru the department store, trying to find my way out I stumbled into the bra dept. Funny how hard it was to find help in shoes but even glance towards a bra and a saleslady was right there.

I sheepishly suggested I was looking for something "wireless" as I had been cutting the wires out for comfort. She said I wasn't the only one doing that, so the brand name companies were getting on board. I figured at least the dressing rooms were open, I'd try one on. It was awful. She had a different style she thought would be more comfortable - what size? Ahhh well I was a 34G but seems now I'm at 36G (thanks little debbie!). It did fit nicely but the only one left in my size is purple! Purple!!! I know no one else will see it but I feel like Barney.

I have a friend who breast fed triplets and now goes bra-less, always. She said after her mom died, she never had to wear a bra again.

I'm so glad I opened this thread.

I am definitely in the bra on group. I hate the flopping around feeling.

No to stick on covers.

I hope more companies make wireless bras. It's hard to find a good supportive wireless bra that fits. I haven't been able to wear ones with wire for years.

When I ran track in high school, I was small enough to not need a bra.

I just never really got in the habit of bras lol

When I worked in the nursing homes, I wore shirts under my scrub tops because otherwise the men got a thrill when I bent over.

Oh, I tried those stickons. They nicely lifted the center of my boobs while leaving the rest to spread out sideways...ridiculous.

When I was young, childless and perky I used to use bandaids for modesty. Taking them off wasn't pleasant.

I wear a bra when I leave the house or have an important meeting.

I'm a 36DDD so sometimes get a backache & think I should wear one more often, but laugh & say, "No."

Do they get real sore

I sing this song ALLLLL THE TIME! Usually to my WW which is probably not nice but she’s always talking about hers!

I personally hate bras. I hate them! If I can get away with not wearing one I will. I am well endowed in that area...38G? Eek! No back pain or anything, I’m fine with my breast, they don't bother me. The only thing that’s uncomfortable is the men outside when I don’t have one on. Their incessant need to stare and scan for my nipples is eww.

I do like these Nike sports bras that go around the neck like a halter type deal. Those are super comfortable if ever I have to wear one. They're especially great when I wanna workout! I don’t have to worry about the top part flopping around trying to assault my face!

Annnndddd I've tried jumping rope without any bra at all...ouch!

I’m definitely in the “pro bra” camp.

I have no idea what size I wear REALLY because I buy $8.50 bras from WalMart. I would love to go to a fancy bra shop and be professionally fitted.

In college, I used to PRAY for boobs - and sadly, God was listening. I used to be 5’7 1/2 and 117 lbs. then about 15 yrs ago I gained a TON of weight - and a lot of it in the chest. Never gave birth, or stripped, so never needed them professionally.

Oh, and my H has told me he prefers smaller breasts!!! (Where was he in my youth?)

I refuse to wear a bra with wire - but have to wear one because they hurt my ribs when left to their own devices (gravity).

I want a breast reduction, but friends have told me it was the most painful experience of their life! 😞

Also, my boobs this size is the only thing keeping my fat belly from being the first thing to enter a room!!!

I have to add that part of the reason my DD is so anti-bra is that she is markedly different sizes, like a full cup difference between the two, so if a bra fits on one side it's gaping on the other, or if it fits on the small side the other side is uncomfortably smooshed.

Grandma that sews has offered to customize some for her, but she isn't interested.

As far as those rabbit stick on things go... I'd need a special one that goes up and over my shoulders to hold the damn things where they should be. LOL.

I do have a really good sports bra that I spent a lot of money on , but damn those things aren't going to move so when exercising, or doing hard work outside I wear it. SHEFIT it the brand.

Wait-a-minute...I think I know her.

Actually, my gram used to try to teach me this when I was young. Yes - the females in my family are mostly unconventional!

Just imagine I was like 12, flat-chested and my gram is trying to teach me how to circle my non-boobs in opposite directions!

Well, my gram is long gone...and my boobs are long now. I still can't do this.

Sidenote: When I was like five, my gram and her sister also used to try to teach me a stripper dance. Really folks

Back to the original post - I do wear a bra daily. Heck, it is just me here alone most days and I still get up, shower and get fully dressed.

Not sure why......

Zebra- it is hard to find a wireless in my size at Target but I have bought a couple there. Annoyed now because their dressing rooms are closed here. I actually brought one from home that fit to use for comparison.

The one I got yesterday at department store was a Wacoal. I have a few of them in various stages of stretched out- that I cut out the wires. If I like the purple one's fit, I'll order beige online.

Wearing a bra I'm a 36G- without one- I'm a 36XLong!
