This lovely woman from Texas, who was quite simple in many ways....had a heart of gold. She touched and changed so many lives she never even knew....How powerful and beautiful acts of kindness can be.....from a "virtual" stranger...

RIP dear friend. ❤️

Got together with jjct this afternoon and toasted our friend.

DS was genuinely good people, one of the most caring hearts I know. How incredibly fitting, the timing of her passing. More than anything, I celebrate that she suffers no more and pray for the you, MH, and the other loved ones she leaves behind.

Sleep well, DS. May angels lead you in as you are missed here.

MH

My deepest sympathy to you and your family.

You and DS saved so many of us as we struggled. What a legacy she leaves behind! Although I had never met her, I knew her to be a kind, loving, thoughtful woman through all of her posts.

She will be missed greatly by everyone at SI

The world is a colder and darker place without DS in it. It doesn't seem possible that she is gone.

What a beautiful legacy of love, trust and hope she has left behind. We are all here, because of her. We are stronger, smarter, and braver, because of her. I consider myself extremely lucky to have been able to meet her in person, and feel the tightness of her hug and the warmth of her spirit. She inspired me daily, and I will never forget her.

MH, I'm so sorry. ((((((MH)))))))

Amazing husband and wife - example of all that is possible, have been through the long hard ordeal noted in this thread.

DS touched so many countless lives with her example of renewal, amends, compassion and recommitment; and MH, through your example right with her.

Thank you for your love; for each other, and for us on this rough road.

((((MH)))) May you know peace and comfort as many hearts lift you up in their thoughts and prayers.

My gratitude for you both, and sorrow for your loss.

I just feel like a bucket of tears today that keeps tipping over. Vrazz and Crazz came to work today to hug me because I was a complete mess when I left. To have my beautiful, intact family come to me to offer love and emotional support is the gift that DS and MH have given me.

The loss is compounded when it's someone who you consider friend AND family, who knows you from every corner of your soul. The world will forever look and feel different. I will carry DS with me forever.
