I found that when I went to skins and put in CNN I got a much clearer picture. And I advanced a little bit on the size and now I have a very readable screen on my iPad.

Are older posts archived buy the poster or by the new site?

Under members I can no longer find anyone’s name but mine. There are a couple of posters that I like to keep up with and I don’t know how to find them anymore

Same problem as yesterday. When I go to Google, the SI prompt is not there. I type in www.survivinginfidelity.com, hitthe enter button it won't connect or save that search I type it again and before hitting enter I hit the prompt

I recommend bookmarking the website and bypassing Google.

Would it be possible to sort archived/recent posts of a user by date? When I look at the posting history of myself or someone else, the listing can jump from one year to the next instead of being in chronological order.

I will look into this. It is currently ordering by topic activity so I see how that can be confusing.

Along the lines of what FF is saying, the old site (or probably Simplicity) allowed a listing of a user's posts. Now, the list is only the thread, so you have to open and scroll an entire thread to see a particular post....

If you click view instead of clicking the topic title it will display a list of all the current members' posts, allowing you to click to go directly to the specific message inline.

I appreciate the need to revamp the entire site, and am grateful for the work to keep it going.... and I REALLY miss simplicity that provided all the info/text in a straightforward way w/o fancy colors and w/o a ton of space between any individual thing (guess I'm not much of a scroller :) )

SImplicity is still available for premium members. What is preventing you from using it now?

Could you please tell me how to search for a member. Can't seem to find it with the new for. Thanks for the help.

It should not require an upgrade, but it will require a bug fix. This will be fixed in the next update.

Yes! A bit maddening but I can’t tell if that’s due to iOS or something specific to SI

MH -

1. viewing posts. At first I couldn't find that eye icon, but when I did... it was like Christmas!!! Thank you soooo much.

2. As to Simplicity, I don't think I can post a photo (I use Imgur and it stopped working with the upgrade - but we'll see).

If the image doesn't work, the screen has the SI heart logo, and text reads:

Okay... nobody panic. It's just a 404.

At some point there was something here, but now it's gone.

We will get someone to take a look and see what might have happened to it. If you happen to find it before we do, let us know

Then in a gray box, reads: Error 404: RESOURCE NOT FOUND

ETA: WOOOO HOOO! Got my photo to work grin

MH - I'm guessing you figured out the Simplicity issue, as today it magically reappeared.

So - THANK YOU for another early Xmas gift!

When I look at recent posts, it says I posted in a thread on 10/19.

I did not. I posted in it several days ago. I did visit the thread today. Does that change the date on my recent post listing?

Does anyone else get tired of scrolling long posts because the paragraphs are so narrow? (I miss the way the old site worked, was easier to read, and easier to follow and find topics with the categories.) I use my iPhone, and didn’t have these issues before the change.

Also, I constantly get a "The web page is not available" message. Sometimes I can’t get through a long response before this message pops up, and I have to reload and start over.

I have legacy open in Chrome and the new site open in Safari.

Now in Chrome im getting booted out of the legacy site when in my private messages.

I find legacy easier to use especially for PMs so thats frustrating. Aldo use legacy to do SPF becauze i couldn't get photos to post in the new site.

Question about new site. Is the Big T and Little t at the top supposed to change the size of the text? It doesnt change anything on my phone in mobile or desktop versions in Safari.

Hi MH

I used to be able to send PMs to new members even if they couldn’t send to me until they had 50 posts.

I tried sending a PM to someone with only 10 posts and it’s greyed out.

Is that working as designed or should I be able to send a PM to a new member like the old site allowed.

fBBF. Just before proposing, broke it off after her 2nd confirmed PA in 2 yrs. 9 mo later I met the wonderful woman I have spent the next 30 years with.
