Oh DS and MH :( I have healed and moved on and haven't been here in years. But a fellow SI'er reached out and told me the news. I am sending all of my prayers, good thoughts, fingers and toes crossed to send you my sincerest healing wishes.
I cannot even begin to tell you what a God Send you both are to me and so many others. At the darkest time in my life you brought me light and hope. And I wish I could send you the same ten fold and make this stupid cancer go away. You are so strong DS, and with MH by your side you are an unstoppable team. Just know that you have thousands of people praying for you guys and you're not alone.

I will be thinking of you both on Thursday and sending positive energy your way. I have a friend with ovarian cancer who is in a drug trial right now. The good news is that there seem to be lots of cancer drug trials (immunotherapy and others) active now. At least for her type of cancer, possibly for yours. If you haven't looked at clinicaltrials.gov, you might want to. My friend had to find her own trial. (Well her mother did research for her because she's been too emotional to do it.) Her doctor suggested one but she didn't qualify. The doctors don't seem to have time to track all the studies that are happening. If you find some that look good, you can ask any and all doctors you know to make a connection.
