Oh MH I am so so sorry. My eyes are filled with tears. What a gift DS has been to all of us. There just aren't ever words that seem appropriate but we are all with you in spirit right now.
But that's just a lot of water
Underneath a bridge I burned
And there's no use in backtracking

I am so sorry for our loss, and even sorrier for your loss, MH.
I'm so glad I met DS (and you). I loved her sense of humor. I loved her feistiness. I loved the care she showed to us. I loved her queenliness. I loved the way she fought the cancer.
She has a place in my head and heart. I'm not likely to forget her.
I don't want to imagine how great a loss this is for you. You'll survive and thrive, but now is a time to mourn.

Another old timer here who rarely is around but knew I needed to post today. DS was a wonderful, wonderful person. We became friends here on SI and we're friends for many years. She was ever so fierce in her love of all of us here and did so much for each of us.
MH - you are in my thoughts and prayers. know that she is with you and wants you to know she's no longer in pain. And she will continue to watch over us and you for the rest of our days.

I feel like a light, literally, went off. DS was a light.
She had a unique, beautiful spirit, filled with joy and wisdom. Words can't convey how much I will miss her. She and I have grown so close over the years. I admire her for more reasons I can list.
My heart is broken. She will be with me forever.
I feel lost. This world is so much better with her in it.
DS, you are forever in my heart. Thank you for sharing your beautiful spirit with me. I will always try to live by the example you have set. I love you and miss you every day and am sorry you had to go so soon, it just doesn't seem fair.

So sorry to learn of DS passing. Especially for you MH.
DS was the first person to reach out to me ..... before SI.
Wonderful human being.
..negative people beat cancer also..
SI was where I finally found people who understood.
