DS I believe 100% that this is curable. You are fighting like the champion you are and with MH by your side I have no doubt you'll be here for a long time to come. You both are such an inspiration. MD Anderson has found a match for me in a phase II trial. We still have criteria to meet to be accepted. I have to have another blood transfusion on the 12th to raise my hemoglobin level. If the labs are good after the transfusion I start the trial on the 14th!!!!

Today, I really hate cancer. A dear friend passed from cancer, my mother and several family and friends beat cancer. I've had some scares with cancer. Keep fighting DS. Keep living in the meantime and never forget how precious the life you have here is. We've all been blessed you have touched our lives. Never forget THAT. And, selfishly I want you to be around to bless us longer. I'm so sorry you are dealing with this, and so inspired by your grace and strength.
You are in my prayers and I'm still sending positive thoughts!

So happy they've found a match! And it may be incurable right now, but every day that you're alive, is another day where they may find a cure. My father died from cancer a few years ago, and researchers have made great strides toward finding a cure for the type of cancer he had. Keeping both you and MH in my thoughts and prayers.

There is no better hospital in America than MD Anderson. I was blown away by the level of compassion and the facilities. I was there for a friend twice last year and the memories I have from being there are fantastic. Spending two weeks there raised the bar on what I would expect from any hospital. None have come close.
You and MH remain in my thoughts and prayers.
