I'm getting mine on Wednesday - we'll see what happens! I definitely reacted to the second one - high fever, etc. I decided to get my flu shot at my yearly exam in a couple weeks, just in case.

I got a Johnson and Johnson shot in early April.

I received a Moderna booster yesterday afternoon. I immediately felt "off" but that could have also been due to the fact that I didn't eat lunch and that I woke up at 3:30am for no reason. I was surprised that I literally did not feel the needle at all (I don't watch... it freaks me out to see needles enter my body). About 3 hours later, my arm started to get sore.

I am fine this morning, except for some stiffness that feels like I slept poorly (I definitely slept poorly) and my arm is still sore. The side effects are basically unimportant; I can have a normal day today. I'm very pleased.

Got the Pfizer shot in April and May--no reaction (not even a sore arm). Got the Moderna booster on Saturday. No reaction there, etiher.

I haven't received my booster yet, but I plan on it before the year is up.

This has been a weird one, for sure. Some of the post-Covid co-morbidities I see in the field are just bizarre.

Blandy are you referring to long covid?

I have seen video of a child with long covid. Absolutely horrible. Praying the kid vaccine get approved up here asap.

All of the long hauler syndromes have yet to be identified or treated. That's why it's so important to be vaccinated and get your booster.

One of my friends has some long hauler symptoms, and it is causing her to have issues with her female organs and allergies.

It doesn't address friends who died because they listened to advice from anti-vaxxers or who are now brain damaged due to low oxygen levels while sick with COVID-19.

I had COVID in August 2020, got the vaccine in April/May of this year. Just got the booster last week, Pfizer.

I was very restless that evening, warm and uncomfortable. I had some pain shooting down my arm and leg most of the night. Throughout the day I had some body aches and my legs felt cold. Aleve took it all away~

FWSO and I were both "boosted" and unfortunately, we're still not microchipped or magnetic or glowing in the dark!

In all seriousness... FWSO got the J & J shot the first time in March. On Friday he got the Moderna Booster... He had chills and a fever on Saturday evening and then was fine.

I got a Pfizer Booster on Saturday around 1230pm and also got the flu shot... I came home and felt a bit off right after, took a nap. Felt nothing but two sore arms on Sunday, but that was it. My arms are still sore now.

We just got our Moderna booster yesterday, 7 months after our second shot. Other than sore arm and fatigue, the easiest one yet at 24 hours in. We are both under 65 but live in an under-vaccinated area so the local pharmacist was happy to give us our shots, no questions asked.

Yes, Long Covid would be the public term for it.

Weird stuff, from women losing their hair in clumps, to people losing their voice for prolonged periods of time, just weird stuff. I don't follow these people long enough to see if they fully recover, so I don't know much after the initial 30 day period after being "over it". I did have one person that *was* a 5-mile a day runner. They now required 10L (!) of 02 and couldn't walk more than 10 feet without needing at least a 5 minute break to recover their 02 sats.

I'm now at 3 shots of Pfizer. My arm was sore and swollen for a few days, but I had no other symptoms. H just got his third Moderna yesterday and has been feeling fatigued and achy all day. He's also grumpy because he was hoping to mix & match Pfizer for his third shot, but Moderna was all they had in stock.

Had two Pfizer doses in the spring with no reaction then got the Moderna booster and it kicked my butt! Really flu-like, achey all over. I immediately thought, "Damn, guess this means my immunities are non-existent? I couldn't even fight off this half-dose booster shot!" Better than getting Covid--without question. But it was not fun. (The shingles shot was a bad one, too!)

I got my Moderna booster a week ago (all three vacs were Moderna).

I had no issues with the booster (not even the sore arm).

My SO got the sore arm, then flu-like symptoms (headache, chills, then sweats, etc).

We prepped differently. He did nothing but a Tylenol after the booster when he got the headache. I upped my fluids and was religious about the Tylenol every 4 hours.

Yep - every has very different reactions.

I had Pfizer for the first two and Moderna for the booster. I reacted the same with all - flu-like symptoms and a fever. The second one was the worst - my fever hit 104. The other two were milder - fever didn't go above 101.

Post shot reactions are a good thing. Shows you still have some heightened level of immune response to the portions of the virus in the vaccines. I'll probably get mine in late December as we have travel plans in March.

Don’t mean to contradict anyone here, but there is no virus in any of the mRNA Covid shots. Not sure if that’s what grubs meant when he when he was talking about "a portion of the virus in the vaccine". I just wanted to make sure that was clear to everyone. There is NO Covid19 virus in either the Pzifer or Moderna vaccine.

Did my C19 booster and my annual flu shot at the same time about 10 days ago now. Heck, in the interim, I even caught Covid back in August, and the booster + flu shot only gave me mild arm soreness and a slight headache. My reaction to my second dose back in April was brutal, so I will take it!

Moderna here. Husband and I had all shots including booster with no problems.

Thanks for pointing out how I phrased it could be misleading. The MRna vaccines cause the body to create harmless proteins that mimic portions of the spike protein found in sars-cov2. The complete spike protein is just a small piece of sars-cov2. That's what I was referring to as a portion of the virus. These proteins then generate a immune response which will allow the body to react to the real virus. The fragment is nowhere near being a complete sars-cov2 virus or even broken down from a live sar-cov2 virus.

All Moderna and no issues after the booster. Pretty happy - I’ll take a slightly sore arm.
