I know it has been discussed here before about strange occurrences, but who has outright seen a ghost? I am watching a show and scaring the you know what out of myself. Guy friend said ask who has seen one? So here I am.

I am fairly certain I saw one as a teenager. I have tried to make myself believe that I was just tired, definitely was not dreaming because I had not been asleep yet, and I can still describe it to this day. Blonde, man in a tuxedo, dark holes for eyes, upstairs at my parent’s old farmhouse. I was 15 or so. My older siblings all said they felt eerie up there. I was the youngest and really the only one that was probably ever consistently alone up there because they were all older and gone.

I have twice. The second time my daughter saw it too, i described it and she started crying

Had the priest come and bless the house . I was hesitant to mention the ghost because I thought he would think i was crazy. He did not- started talking about how to help them to the other side. Sort of freaked me out to have him believe me and offer real solutions to get it out!

After blessing have not seen ghost since.

Also my middle child i think saw ghosts as a toddler. He would point at nothing and say do you see it? Its a monster. But a nice monster.

I saw my maternal grandmother shortly after we moved to our new house. She had passed before we moved.

She was standing in my bedroom doorway, smiled at me then went over to my brothers room. It wasnt scary at all. More like she was making sure we were alright and letting me know she was ok too.

I visited Dachua, the concentration camp. There are absolutely ghosts there. I felt them in my bones. The evil is tangible.

My mother, on the other hand, has never visited me and she never passed up a chance to say “I told you so”. And xWH’s A was the pinnacle opportunity — and no visits from mom.

So I do have some belief.

When we lived in our marital home, I, stbx, and my BFF all independently saw the exact same peculiar thing in the exact same part of the house. None of us said anything to each other until I was present when BFF saw it. It was a shadow of a man walking through our kitchen into the laundry room.

STBX had a priest come to the house and bless it after the third sighting. We never saw it after that.

There was only one owner of the house before us, and his in-laws lived in an RV outside the door on that side of the house, so we believe it was his father-in-law's ghost, as he likely came in and out of that door countless times.

None of us felt frightened at all when we saw it. We did not get a feeling of evil or dread. Definitely a friendly Ghost.

I used to see a ghost of a man in a fedora hat. He followed me from city to city, home to home.

After DS was born, I never saw him again... I think DS was watching me in his previous life before he was reborn as my DS!

I have put this on here before, that I was visited twice by a family friend who had passed. The first time he told me how he died (confirmed after by others) and the second was to tell me he was okay with being dead and wanted to say goodbye. It all felt very peaceful, just as he had visited while alive.

The house I grew up in had something eerie going on. Won't*t tell you everything it's too much. My sister and I used to have reccuring nightmares about a man chasing us down the road with a knife. We also saw the same apparition standing in the middle of our room. It's eyes were black. No whites. The next day we had an argument about who dreamt it. The man and the incident was confirmed when my mother went to visit an old neighbor who had lived in the neighborhood across the street. My mom didn't bring it up but the neighbor discussed how the man who lived in our house had built the surrounding homes including the one we lived in. She said she had seen him run out the front door after his daughter with a knife once. The description of the man was the same as what my sister and I had seen in our dreams.Not sure what the heck was going on in there however that room seemed to be thick with it. So cold and heavy all the time. I remember it was summer once and I could see my breath in that room. That's how cold it was. Handy when you don't have ac.

I wonder if your DS would be willing to do regression hypnosis (not sure if that's the right term, but basically being hypnotized to previous lives).

Personally never saw one. I did work in a hospital that is well known for twin girl ghosts and did experience sown weird stuff.

I did experience a very real dream several times after my grandma passed. She had a very particular smell and she had some funky thumbnails that curled back. We teased her and called canoe thumbs. Lol. But there multiple times I woke up to her smell and the strongest vision of her hands and those canoe nails. She was my strongest bond and loved her tons. It was always her way to make me feel safe and loved after she passed.

Wh and i shared the bedroom with dd and ds before we moved. On many occasions either dd or ds when very young would wake us with their laughter. We would see them staring off towards the ceiling interacting with something or someone we couldn't see.

Their eyes would follow, they would reach out for who or whatever it was.

They were never scared. Always smiling and laughing.
