I am fostering 3 kittens, rescued yesterday. Two are very young and one is older, clearly a Siamese mix but with a long fox like tail. S(he) has beautiful blue eyes and a small triangle face that is half black, half buff, like a feline chimera.
I can't decide on a name, it has to be just right!
Any creative suggestions?

Kitsune - the name for fox in Japanese - in honour of her tail x

Unfortunately, Boaty McBoatFace is already taken.
I am terrible with coming up with names, other than I look at the person/animal and then I go with my intuition from there.
For example, my oldest daughter... her (fake) name is Bobbie Sue and we had planned on calling her Sue. But, then she was born and she looked like a Bobbie... so we went with that.
BTW, hopefully this is irrelevant, but cats can carry COVID... so be a little careful with them. A friend got sick (and then better) from fostering cats...

My grandma had one when I was little. Ming Su would chase the neighbor's German Shepherd out of the yard. She was beautiful.
Or Kimora, as a play on chimera?

I adopted my Siamese while I was living in Moscow, Russia and I named her Loobloo (Russian for love). She was actually born in Karachi, Pakistan.
To say I love you in Russian is

We have a fire tipped Siamese. His name is Leonard Snart aka Captain Cold. It fits his cool, laid back personality.
What is it's personality like. Though I did like the Japanese name for Fox and the other for Chimera.

Great ideas! I like to idea of a non English name for an exotic animal.
I posted his/her pictures on FB and we already have a potential adopter!

I have had a lot of cats over the years, and to me the females always seem to be the ones with attitude. For example our current female, she is definitely bonded with my H, and prefers men over women, however she loves to sleep on my pillow.
During the day, or evening though she will give me attitude if I attempt to pet or pick her up.
She is very hateful too, but she is a great older sister to our feral boy we brought in about 3 years ago. She bathes him, and then bites him hard. LOL.
She is just a snot. Anyway, she was supposed to be My cat for my birthday, and she was supposed to be 6 months old when we got her and she was tiny, under 5lbs, so we named her Minnie - she is now 12 lbs. So it's kind of ironic. We went with ironic or obvious names for a while when our kids were younger, we had golden named Harry, a giant MaineCoon named Mo- as in there was Mo cat there than you could hold, and a Great Dane named Grace.
Something exotic seems appropriate for her, does she seem smart? Kameko is japanese for superior chld. Suki - beloved, Yum Yum and Sagwa are some others.

These are great ideas. I posted the pictures of the babies on my Facebook page and one of my friends expressed interest. I'm starting to think she(?) Is more ragdoll, long silky hair and melts in your arms when you pick her up.
They are so gorgeous and funny.

Can you name him something from Lady and the Tramp? Or call him Disney?
years ago we had a Siamese - he upset a neighbor. He was the sweetest cat on the planet so I blame the neighbor LOL. I got a call from him one day saying "do you own that big fat Siamese" and I said "If you please"
He was not amused. I'm still laughing 10+ years later.

Lol. Si and Am...
I'm beginning to think she is more ragdoll because of her long, silky coat. But she seems to have the Siamese talking gene and man, can she jump! At least 5 ft without any effort.
The other two babies are growing quickly and are so much fun to watch.
