laugh I am apologizing in advance. Once again I am a washout. I haven’t got my cards sent in time.

I’d like to blame things going on in my life, but on this site, there is no such thing as someone who doesn’t have lots going on in their life.

I’m sorry to be such a lame person.

Merry Christmas to everybody.

Ugh, priority mail, supposed to be delivered on the 29th, and as of this morning, sitting in north Houston distro. Really, really hate what's happened to USPS.

There's probably still some time/leeway to get them out WR - don't throw in that towel just yet! Know you've been wanting to be a part of this exchange.

Here are some updates for those that worry. smile

Everyone that has said their cards are out with the exception of 3kids30years and ChewedMeUp have indeed arrived.

Do not worry 3kids30years and ChewedMeUp, I am accepting yours cards. I do understand that the postal service is a finicky thing.

I have received one package in an Amazon bubble wrap but no return information so I am not sure who they are from. Let me know if it is yours!

We had 29 people originally sign up. 2 have bowed out.
I have officially received 15 packages.
3 more will show up for the elf gathering.
2 are lost in transit, but I expect coming soon.

So that is 20 out of the 29 expected participants.

I am hoping a few more will show up, as a few that are missing are from people that have participated for several years.

I appreciate the chocolate goodies! grin

Nah - you don't suck. Remember what you told someone last year when they bailed? Pay it forward. I know you know how to do that every single day in your world girlfriend. (Your merriment will be missed though)

EllieKMAS, I did not get your card from last year until late March/early April. I think you may have overpacked the glitter and the post office freaked out a bit. laugh Anyway, I put my glitter from each year into a clear plastic ornament and write the year on it. Your glitter from last year will be going in the 2021 ornament. Cheers! grin laugh

I thought Elf party was tonight! Now I guess I'm going to have to do that shot of Patron alone wearing an ugly sweater. Or, as Sand calls it "Saturday" or something. Wish we could of been there this year! Can't wait to get the cards, got the SI tree set up in it's customary location and just need the cards to finish it up.

Ellie, WhatsRight, and anyone else that thinks they let us down just realize that you don't have that kind of power! I participate in the exchange because the joy to me is sending the cards, even if I didn't get a single one back. One of these years it could be any one of us who plans on participating but life got in the way. It happens, we all understand. When I first did this in 2012 I couldn't of believed the joy it gave me during a very troubling time. SI was here for me, so now I can be here for others that need a lift.

^^^ What Tred said— life happens. We get it. You will pay it forward another time, maybe another way, but you will.

Yes! I got both yours and ChewedMeUp’s cards on time. smile

Small haul this year, but us elves had a great time! I missed them so much last year!

HT and I are happy to carry on this tradition. We met DeeplyScared for the first time doing this card exchange. It only seems right to continue it in her honor. Several shots of Patron were had in her name.

Cards will be going out in the mail early this week.

Merry Christmas everyone!🎄

Many thanks WOES 💜

I’m so happy the tradition continues. That first Christmas was awful. The joy and support from everyone who participated that year was the best part of the season.

Happy Holidays All - and Stay Amazing!!!
