Um... Yeah... Ok... I'll just... Unplug that karaoke machine right NOW, I guess...

Tallgirl posted 2/9/2019 08:31 AM

I havenít been here as long as you folks. I was feeling embarrassed at how many threads I killed so quickly already.

I Feel better now.

Oops. Did it again. Lol

Move over folks I am here now.

jrc1963 posted 2/9/2019 09:29 AM

But the question TallGirl is do you leave random time on the microwave or do you clear it?

little turtle posted 2/9/2019 13:47 PM

I'm a thread killer too. I stopped posting for awhile because of it. I get sad when I go back for updates and my post was the last one... but, I don't take it personally anymore. There's so many threads to comment on. I'll find another one I like eventually!

But what really bothers me... I will find a new person to follow their story and help out. After a short while - week or so, they quit posting. Then, I gotta find someone else...

Chili posted 2/9/2019 13:58 PM

Dang turtle - you're good at chasing off new members as well? Eesh - no wonder you're all sad and bothered and stuff.

Chili posted 2/9/2019 14:13 PM

I also heard somewhere that:

Failure is success if we learn from it.

I don't always comment on their threads either!

I brought bean dip!

Err...

I brought SOME bean dip!

DragnHeart posted 2/9/2019 16:58 PM

I don't post often outside of OT and F&G but I do try to read. It's kinda depressing to get into a thread, following it along only to have it suddenly locked or no more posts or the OP disappear. I end up worrying about people or just wondering what's going on with them.

Do ya want any tarantula pics yet? I can kill a thread that way....Just say'n...

WalkinOnEggshelz posted 2/9/2019 17:30 PM

I keep waiting for one of the mods to show up with their padlock power and lock it up, just to show us who's really boss.

Iíve definitely thought about it!

Notthevictem posted 2/9/2019 19:04 PM

Iíve definitely thought about it!

But did you think about bean dip? THAT'S the real question.

DragnHeart posted 2/9/2019 19:39 PM

I'm interested in your bean dip....What do you dip in it? Chips?

What bean is it made from?

Does it have anything to do with the jelly bean mountain?

Stupid phone changes my words....

I think I've killed a few threads. Or maybe I'm paranoid. If this is the last post, I win.

Tallgirl posted 2/9/2019 20:52 PM

Jrc I leave time on the microwave. Mostly because I hate the beep series at the end.

I like bean dip and I have a instant pot that I have not yet named.

Superesse posted 2/9/2019 22:44 PM

Tallgirl, dittos! From this discussion, I just discovered I am a "leaver" whereas WH likes to 'zero out' the microwave timer, wouldn't you just know it....

steadychevy posted 2/10/2019 12:30 PM

Jeez, don't you have a "Clear/Off" button on your microwave. Just hit it. No beeps, no time.

Notthevictem posted 2/10/2019 12:48 PM

Don't tell me what to do!!!

Tallgirl posted 2/10/2019 13:14 PM

Who is Jeez?

Yes that is funny.

Tallgirl posted 2/10/2019 13:15 PM

Did I kill it?

Steady , I thought that Candylandians read that and decide that the microwave is telling them to "Clear OFF, eh! [and just go the hell away!]" without bothering to turn off the display in order for anyone to actually be aware of the time up there.
