Thank goodness others feel the same way... threadkilling is not something i’m aiming to be good at, it just seems to come naturally to me.😏

I so don’t want the last word so please someone else come along

Maybe a long walk in the Hindu Kush would do it?

Actually, this little topic has me thinking.

There are the opposite kinds of people and posts out there well...

The thread party animals, thread resurrectors, maestro-conductors, surgical strike-ers, Where's Wally-ers, Disney villians, puppy dog eyes-ers, Teddy bears, Rocky Balboa's, dunking booth/pie toss faves, etc...

I find that there are some people that just REALLY bring on the rotten egg tossing and some that I just can't help but chime in with or try to support or have a friendly spar with, and then there are some that are more like Old Deutoronomy from the musical "Cats" whose very presence means "Finis" or that Judge Dredd has just arrived on the scene.

And then there's Chili...

.

.

.

(I'm so totally just messing with you there, Chili! )

But seriously, it gets me to thinking "what's DragonHeart got that I don't got?!" (It's okay if all of the English speaking world is laughing at me right there, btw).

Which I figure is probably about like asking why women and children prefer Peekachoo plush toys to cheer them up and tell all their troubles to, as opposed to ceramic or porcelain Spock dolls to lend a sympathetic, listening ear to them instead. (DragonHeart does actually remind me a little of of Peekachoo, btw.)

Ok what have I don't to give you THAT image of me??? I've got to correct it somehow.

I think I can be best at making people run from a thread. I'll just post one of my tarantula, whiptail Scorpion, or snake photos. Usually does the trick, or gets me locked in the dungeon and my photo posting privileges taken away. Lol.

This is day number three of cancelled buses, ice storms that just don't seem to be that bad and four kids making this mommy wonder if the liquor store is open at 9am...

Actually DragonHeart, you just don't know your own strength!

That street Llama doesn't have that requisite, Ukranian explosive look in her eye.

Alternatively, you remind me more of this:

That's a very young Drew Barrymore in the movie Firestarter wherein she discovers she can start fires just with her own mind and feelings... But she's so adorable you just wouldn't think that she's anything but a damsel in distress!

(Which might kinda account for BOTH your username AND that little issue about about cracked and dry bleeding hands you were asking about at one point!)

Let's all take a minute to really thank the powers that be for not giving me fire starter abilities (or the ability to breathe flames like an actual dragon)...

I would have set the world ablaze years ago... lol

TushNurse, If there's a way to merge Old Deutoronomy with Mary Lou Retton, then yeah I guess you could say that!

As for Bigger, I'm just too afraid to answer that question...

Oh wait... There y'all are! BOTH working together!

What was that?

Did I say that y'all seem like thread killers??

Oh my, heavens no! Who could ever ever THINK such a thing?!? I plead the 5th amendment, Judge and Judgette! You've got the wrong guy here!

I wonder which one of you thread killers will kill this thread?

Maybe we (other members of SI) should formalize our thoughts into a game with an odds bracket similar to those used for sporting events.

But, one of you will probably kill the thread before we get it posted in Fun and Games.
