Actually, this little topic has me thinking.

There are the opposite kinds of people and posts out there well...

The thread party animals, thread resurrectors, maestro-conductors, surgical strike-ers, Where's Wally-ers, Disney villians, puppy dog eyes-ers, Teddy bears, Rocky Balboa's, dunking booth/pie toss faves, etc...

I find that there are some people that just REALLY bring on the rotten egg tossing and some that I just can't help but chime in with or try to support or have a friendly spar with, and then there are some that are more like Old Deutoronomy from the musical "Cats" whose very presence means "Finis" or that Judge Dredd has just arrived on the scene.

And then there's Chili...

But seriously, it gets me to thinking "what's DragonHeart got that I don't got?!" (It's okay if all of the English speaking world is laughing at me right there, btw).

Which I figure is probably about like asking why women and children prefer Peekachoo plush toys to cheer them up and tell all their troubles to, as opposed to ceramic or porcelain Spock dolls to lend a sympathetic, listening ear to them instead. (DragonHeart does actually remind me a little of of Peekachoo, btw.)

I think I can be best at making people run from a thread. I'll just post one of my tarantula, whiptail Scorpion, or snake photos. Usually does the trick, or gets me locked in the dungeon and my photo posting privileges taken away. Lol.

This is day number three of cancelled buses, ice storms that just don't seem to be that bad and four kids making this mommy wonder if the liquor store is open at 9am...

Ohan totally forgot this but yes....Would have been handy. That said...No more advisory warnings and the roads here are fine. I expect back roads are still bad but our road is OK.

Praying the go tomorrow. WH is off work.so even if the buses don't run he will drive them lol

Roads here in my state are a mess just west of here. My DD had classes cancelled yest am, and all day today d/t ice storms. YUCK

Maybe we (other members of SI) should formalize our thoughts into a game with an odds bracket similar to those used for sporting events.
