Eh, that could have detrimental effects on other parts of the world. I remember one FU meeting we tried to do a simultaneous fart to stop a monsoon. I mean it worked on a tornado once, so we were a little full of ourselves.... either way, it seemed to empower the disaster rather than discharge it... results were not ideal.

Have you ever seen a thread and wanted to give it life again?

There was a thread I was keeping tabs on. Then I read the last post which left me in tears. I actually left the house and sat in the van just crying. I know the post wasn't directed at me but what was said was so hurtful to me that I wanted to post back.

Knowing that I was upset I figured it probably was best I didn't and just turned off my phone for the night. It's been a few days. The thread appears dead. I'll let it stay there.

I really think you should post your feelings and thoughts about whatever was on that thread.

What was the gist? Why would anyone want to hurt YOU anyway? I might do it accidentally myself by saying something insensitive or playfully teasing too much about stuff and not realizing it's a touchy matter I'm fiddling around with, but I think it's important for people to know if they are stepping on others' toes or not.

Perhaps. However each of us is entitled to our opinion.

Just because one person's opinion struck a nerve with me doesn't mean I need to argue the point of it.

But I can tell you the only other time I ever read anything here and cried like that was when DS passed. Even then I knew I wanted to be here. That one post however made me question if I could come back.

Sorry you felt so sad Dragon. I read a thread last night. I couldn't believe how Sadeyes was treated by her WH. My heart broke for her, she seems wonderful. Sometimes, it's hard to be here, especially when you have had a hard day or an event.

BUT this thread makes me happy.

I agree with Ceph, post your feelings if you want. I think people's anger sometimes comes out and they don't realize.

I find there are lots of convo's about super sensitive stuff, and sometimes those are difficult to read.

A fart can create

A fart might not smell,

While others are vile,

A fart can occur

In a number of places,

I think it's just a politically correct, legal, and approved way for the government of Candyland to effectively discriminate against dragons and try regulate them and keep them down.
