Sorry that it came across that way.

I just recall that thread being so popular back in the day and now it's actually dead. Same with the Just say'n thread.

Well i found the Just say'n thread but the topic has been closed to future posts.

No sight of the thread killer thread down there 16 pages in.

But on page 16 there's a Fart Joke Friday Fundraiser thread. Must have missed that one. And funny enough NOT posted by NTV.

Oh,I just had a really weird idea...

Wouldn't it be absolutely COOL to have a costume party anonymity optional SI g2g (get together)?!

I would LOVE the idea of meeting a bunch of you guys with no one having any concerns about identity-security or their anonymity on here, if they didn't want to reveal their real life secret identity...

It seems like it would be so damn fun, too!

Acting like a kid would be pretty much required almost!

What do y'all think of that idea? I would come as one of those oversized partially inflatable T-Rex dinosaurs perhaps!

Yeah well at least I think most of us would prefer for you show up in a self contained costume like an astronaut or E.T. or an old style diving suit but without a hose attached.

Omg I'm dying here. Laughing so hard my side hurts! Dammit that's funny. Guess all new vehicles are female then eh?!? They all that that crap.in them telling us what to do, or not do OR doing it for us....Damn cars that park themselves.

G2G yes. In consume? How the hell does a 4' person hide who they are? Seriously. And don't tell me to wear stilts. I'd trip and die! The Rex costumes are fun but ever seen someone wear one on a windy day??? I have. Poor person got blown down the road.

Well a 4 foot high Batman looks like a 4 foot high Batman instead of a 4' high Drew Barrymore with red hair that maybe lives right down the road...

I didn't mean YOU, btw, but I would have every intention of coming as "Cephastion" the T-Rex or whatever.

I don't know that i would necessarily HAVE to tell you that my real name is James Bond or Brexton McGillicutty or whatever it really is IRL.

Besides, I figured making it optional with the costumes and anonymity would be more all inclusive.

but I don't think too many people are going to steal your identity with all those fire starting capabilities

Ya but still. I seriously doubt many members here that would attend the same G2G as I would are under five feet. I might as well just come as I am normally

That's scary enough these days.

In high school we had competitions for best costume. I went all out making by hand a three headed dragon with the middle head that sat up on my own way above it so it looked like I was a taller person. I walk in and one person looks over and announces to the whole place Hey DragnHeart nice costume. Geez I didn't even get five minutes before they all knew.it was me. Short sucks!

What are the chances... That my costume idea and 3 "dragons"-being-sassy Gif would so closely correlate to your actual real life high school costume party experience from DECADES ago!?

That's almost kinda scary...

You know, I was small too, btw. I used to very literally and regularly roller skate underneath the legs of other skaters at the local skating rink when I was younger. And I could hide anywhere and swim like a fish.

I even won a diving competition with my first EVER dive off of the low board once because I made virtually no splash whatsoever! (Maybe i had dove once before that, but i don't think so).

They had real divers doing forward and backwards twists and turns and somersaults off of the high dive right next to me at the same time. I was extremely hesitant to bother even risking the embarrassment of diving for the first time in front of so many people even though it wasn't like an Olympic competition or anyting, but I was part of the Big Brothers and Sisters organization as a fatherless boy and my "big brother" insisted that I get my feet wet literally with putting myself out there taking a shot at just for the sake of saying I tried.

As I came up to the surface after my dive, I heard an incredible amount of applause and hollering and even people standing up to make such noise and I looked and looked to see who the high diver was that had done so well, since that was the only time I saw that level of enthusiasm from the audience in spite of the obvious skill of so many of the high dive competitors.

When so many people kept insisting that it was because of me and my splashless dive I just couldn't even believe it for a good long while. first of all I didn't even know that not splashing was part of the criteria and second of all I never even though before I was afraid I would make an absolute and total freaking fool of myself in front of all those people and judges.

I still have that silly first place ribbon but I never even expected to have anything but laughter or polite tolerance at best for having risked diving in.

So being short isn't all bad, Dragonheart! You just gotta own it and love how awesome you are!

Besides it's got to come in handy when you're milking those pygmy goats!

Yes that is kinda scary but this sort of thing has always happened to me so I'm almost used to it.

I always feel sorry for a fully costumed person holding a sign on a corner. Especially if it's windy or hot. Does It really bring in customers?

We stood with signs on the corner but it was for Earth day and we had a big group with music. Standing alone would be tedious. I was a nature spirit with a leafy dress and long wavy hair and a ribboned flower crown with flying butterflies on wires. That was fun. People pulled kids in wagons and some kids rode on decorated bicycles. We gathered a big group and walked to the park where there was an Earth day celebration. Earth day is always great fun here and cheerful. My friend went as St. Francis last year in the spirit of sharing and appreciation.

Thank you everyone for your wisdom and healing.
