DS,

I had to jump in here to tell you this.

I became a Grandpa recently and my granddaughter is just the cutest (no, of course I'm not biased!). Anyway, I was holding her over the weekend and I was wishing so many things for her and her future. And one of the things I wished for her was that her life would be a positive one, where she can impact people and give of herself to them to make all of us better people and this world a better place. And then I thought of you specifically and prayed that my granddaughter be blessed to bring as much hope, healing, and love to so many people like you have in your life.

I don't quite know if you truly realize just how many people you've impacted - not just SI's 50,000+ members, but their families and friends as well. In today's world, we could all use role models and positive examples to follow. Even though you didn't know it, you are exactly that for my granddaughter. Thank you.

Go get the Healing Light by Agnes Sanford.

I'm praying again.

Father in heaven I know you love DS more than I do even. I just ask for your Holy Spirit to wrap her in your healing power and cleanse her body soul and spirit of all that is malicious and bring the Life, your Life, to her. Heal her of cancer. Bring those levels up. Bless her. I claim her body for the Kingdom. In Jesus name. Amen

Walloped...

I'm deeply touched by your message above....thank you so much for telling me that!!

This has been a living nightmare for us over here for us, so knowing that you (and others) have benefitted from SI and any friends you've made here is just an awesome bonus

Thank you again Walloped...you made my day!

Yep it's true. You and MH have made a huge difference in the lives of more people than any of us could ever hope to touch. I wouldn't be here today if not for SI. That's a truth i think many of us share. You have saved the lives of many, mentally and physically. You're an example of what true love, devotion and hard work and hope is all about. An inspiration.

Sending you peace and strength my dear friend. I would be lost without SI.

That you continue to give back to so many strangers even during this horrific time for you and MH speaks volumes about the kind of human beings you are. The world needs more people like you.

If Happy Ever After did exist, I would still be holding you like this.

And I would be DEAD without SI. Fact. How many times have I come here and so many of you (including you DS) have talked me back from the edge.

The support here is second to none, from JFO to F&G!! We all have you to thank.

You are in my thoughts every single day. Keep hanging in there and showing cancer who's boss!

Ah DS, I just want you to feel well again! I can't imagine what you are going through and although my posts during my trials have not always been respectful ( and I sincerely apologize for that) the work you and MH have done to bring us together is truly truly remarkable!

You have and continue to help us in a very trying time of our lives. SI and the folks here have saved my sanity and helped me begin the process of rebuilding my marriage. Without SI I would not of found the relief and understanding that I needed to continue to take care of my beautiful little family.

For that I am forever greatful.

And, Fuck cancer!

Update

So this past Thursday for lab tests/blood panel at the main MDA ...then finally the TD was administered at 11:00am. After all of the tests were done it was close to 8:00pm...extremely long and exhausting day. BUT....the 2nd round of TD is DONE!!!!!

Fun little thing that when you're in the hands of any MDA staff and you're on a gurney(sp?) every time you're wheeling through the massive hallway system, the Nurse will cal out "Coming around" or "Coming through" which of course I could not resist yelling out all day as MH pushed my wheelchair for all my appointments.

It was awesome..MDA Staffer's and patients were laughing and high fiving me as I would round another corner. MH and I have a great time no matter what!!

Btw....I'm not in a wheelchair for daily tasks, etc. I was in the wheelchair yesterday due to so many appointments and time sensitive tests....much faster to get around then me walking, which is slow and steady due to the tumors growth on the outside.

So, hopefully we'll hear some news later this week. Thank you all so much...your help and love is helping us hang on!!!!
