Ooh, Chaos! You're one of those posters I have a strong mental image of (and it's a fun one so I'll share). I envision you like a tall blonde (I have no idea if you're actually blonde, maybe you mentioned it once and it stuck or maybe that's just something I made up) wonderwoman in sparkly pink, glitter bitch boots. grin

You aren't too far off. A blonde wonderwoman is kind of a funny analogy. LTAP and wonderwoman share the same legal first name [although she is very dark haired]. So making WonderWoman blonde is a great picture in my head. Particularly, blonde, pink and sparkly :)

Tushnurse, it's not a precise vision but I picture you as a brunette Angela Lansbury type (younger than the early days of Murder She Wrote, but a similar haircut to Jessica Fletcher's, maybe a bit longer) - no British accent, and in scrubs of course. I used to watch Murder She Wrote reruns after school as a kid and there is something I always liked about her calm, comforting, cleverness - I get that same vibe from your posts, and so I think that's why I have made the connection.

Based on your description, Chaos, I’m picturing you as Power Girl (Kara Zor L).

Back when she was alive, people would stop me in the street and say that I looked like Brittany Murphy.

This is SOOOO much fun!

I am greatly appreciative to even be in the same thought as Ellen Bernstein. She is one of my all time favorite ‘southern ladies". I certainly have never beaten my children as she did as Vivi in the movie, but I have known to be obstinate and strongly opinionated. I am also "American by birth, and Southern by the grace of God". smile oh, and about 50+ lbs heavier, look

I picture you, Jeanie, as a super hero advocate for the downtrodden by day, maybe a Claire Kincaid if she was on the other side of the podium. Or Olivia Bensen. And a sweet, everyday friend by night. Maybe Sally Field, or Sandra Bullock.

Tush reminds me of a mixture of bravery, knowledge, and strength. One of the nurses on "Call the Midwife"

I have always thought of Bigger as someone I would want to arrest me…if I were ever to face such a situation. Authoritative, but fair and compassionate. Maybe Sipowicz on NYPD Blue. Love that guy.

Sisoon is Colonel Potter on MASH.

Dragn would have to be Merida from Brave.

And I have always pictured Deeply Scared as a much younger Olympia Dukakis.

Oh, and I have always thought that if I ever win the lottery, I would rent out a big venue and fly every one of you for a week/weekend to laugh, cry, and play together.

However, I have heard that you must actually play the lottery in order to win it. rolleyes

I love this thread, I do have mental pictures of everyone. When I was in 7th grade a coach nicknamed me Tanner because I looked like the blonde kid named Tanner on The Bad News Bears.

I have been told I look like Robert De Niro, but I’m younger, no gray hair, and have a beard so not real sure how that computes.

This is my favorite thread in quite a while. I’ve already said my piece about Bigger, long flowing locks billowing over his tuxedo.

I told Sisoon a while back that I picture him as the "highly mysterious" super hero The Sphynx from Mystery Men.

And Emergent, to me you are long haired brunette in a Murphy Brown pant suit. All the time.

Edit to remove political name.

Well I want to know how y’all picture me now 🤣

Some of you I know IRL so I won’t cheat with those, lol.

Whatsright I always picture much like Malinn (Sally Field’s character) in Steel Magnolias.

Bigger- I agree with David Morse, especially as he appeared in Green Mile.

Sisoon- Albus Dumbledore. Although maybe without the beard ponytail and magenta robes.

NTV- Louis Litt from Suits.

Jeanie- I picture as a tiny powerhouse of a lawyer. No specific person comes to mind but just one of those defense attorneys who lays it all on the line for what is right and just.

That’s all I’ve got right now.

NTV - perhaps, dependig on the version of Ms. Quinn you are imagining. I'm a bit more hour glass than the adorable Margo Robbie. Definitely the drug & crime free.

tushnurse - thankie

BluerThanBlue - I admit I had to google, but that's pretty close. In pretty much every way except in age and that my hair is longer. I'm mid 50's but in daylight pass for 10 years younger. In dimly lit places I've gotten 15-20 years younger (but alcohol could be a factor there).

IRL descriptions are "Modern Day Marilyn" "Blonde Goddess" and since popularity on streaming series I've gotten "Viking Queen"

There are times my appearance [and the compliments that come with it] is its own trigger - because I'm a member of the club no one wants to join.

But 95% of the time, my confidence is my Super Power. Being a card carrying SI club member just adds a bit of Bad Ass to the BASGU (Bad Ass Sparkly Goddess Unicorn) that is Chaos. The fact that some can't handle all this awesomeness (including WH during the LTA) is their own damage.

My Super Suit is sparkly and [shocker] my familiar is a Unicorn :)

I'm loving this thread and glad everyone else is too. We do occasionally need something to laugh about. I would like to add that I visualize the wonderful owner of this site as the Wizard of Oz only nicer, younger and better looking. laugh We are all much better off for the efforts he (and his late, beautiful, wonderful wife) put into this site. So many thanks to him for hanging in here for all of us!

Back in the day, Fun and Games was hoppin. We had get togethers, people posted pic of themselves, we posted pics of the get togethers, there were plenty of opportunities to see the real deal.

We have never recovered that aspect of this site since the pandemic. Maybe it can be fun keeping the mystery, but it sure was great to meet in person such beautiful people both inside and out!

I have had the fortune of meeting so many members throughout the years. I hope one day the tradition will renew itself.

I am definitely one that creates pictures in my head of the members here.

A feminist icon! I'm honoured. I loved that show as a kid, which is kind of weird retrospectively because a newsroom office hardly seems like something that would appeal to an 8 or 10 year old. I actually wear suits for work regularly- though my office has become considerably more casual in the post-covid era - so you're not totally off base. I will admit that my sartorial choices involve considerably less shoulder pad, and despite however I may come across in written form, I'm considerably less sarcastic IRL. smile

Well I want to know how y’all picture me now

HFSSC - This is going to sound super weird, because it is super weird but YOU ASKED. laugh For some reason, I associate your username with Greek Revival architecture in the south. Those big stately houses with the giant pillars in the front. I have absolutely no idea where this comes from - truly - brains are weird. To a lesser extent, a Kelly Kapowski type from the 90s with the tall teased hair - but a bit older, obviously not a high-schooler. How are these things at all connecte? I have no idea. Brains are strange. laugh

InkHulk - I still envision the Inkhulk graphic.
