How are you holding up, A1? I imagine things are still touch-and-go, but hope they have taken a turn for the better. If it’ll help you organize your thoughts and make sense of this mess, please update us when you have time.

A1,

I don’t think your daughter needs to crack. Her Mother betrayed the family. The natural consequences are hard to bear. Please get support for yourself and your DD’s. I was guilted back into the life of a family member. I regret it daily.

Sucide is a very selfish thing. If it had worked image the guilt your daughters and possibly you would have had to bear.

I have been thought about doing it. I have thought about it many times in my life.

I am sorry for the long gap in my comments. Unfortunately, this won't be a happy update. My wife succeeded in taking her life on my birthday (early March). Life has been chaos since. The girls took a leave of absence from school and are back home. None of us are handling this well.

It is hard to believe that less than a year ago life seemed so sweet and wonderful. What I wouldn't give to return to that state of blissful ignorance.

I want to thank all of the members of the SI community for their unwavering support during the last 6 months or so. Many of you took valuable time out of your lives to give needed advice, critical opinions and even simple internet hugs. I wish each of you the best possible luck in all of your endeavors.

So sorry to hear that A1. Suicide is an inherently selfish act, albeit by a hurting individual. I'll be praying for you and your daughters.

AO, I'm so very sorry for all of you. It's a bit selfish of me to mostly lurk on these boards, but I wanted to let you know that I've followed your story and have felt for you, your kids, and your wife throughout your postings. Thank you for letting all of us know. It was generous of you to share this and trust us with this knowledge. I hope you can find some comfort from this community. I wish you and yours peace.
