Yes, a pattern I've noticed is those really hard days/nights when I just feel like things are terrible are met with relief soon after. One thing I've read about trauma release is it's like a shaken bottle of soda, it must be let out slowly and intentionally to prevent explosion.

Watch for those patterns in your life, I know on my worst days, I'll end up feeling better after it passes, which helps me get through those days.

Edie, that's what I've been trying to do for the past few days... but the thoughts all remain out of control.
It's ironic, since I had taught myself to meditate years ago to assist in sleeping (and to learn to focus energy to specific body parts during my fighting days), and I can't even seem to do it for one frigging minute now.

Random Question - hair keeps getting on my shirt from my haircut and making me feel like I look dishevelled. Anyone think a random women's or unisex hair salon would do a rinse for me even though I didn't cut by them?

Can't hurt to ask, now can it? I think you should ask. Just those 5 little minutes could be good for you.

SD, how are you doing? Haircut OK now, all the loose hair gone? I hate the prickly little fuckers that get behind your collar.
