It was totally unexpected. I canít process this...just totally numb and completely lost.

My dad died February 22 last year. My dog died in June. My divorce was final last September.

This is the first time that Iím really not sure I will be ok.

I'm so sorry for your loss. My deepest condolences to you and your family.

(((TSMF))). I just lost my father in October followed by my uncle 2 weeks later and a close cousin a couple weeks ago. It feels overwhelming. But you will be okay. Let grief be grief, seek help if you need it. Grief counselors are wonderful and talented. Seek out a group.

And post as much as you need. I am so sorry.

I'm so sorry for your loss. When our mothers close their eyes for the last time something dies in us. Let yourself grieve, there sadly is no way around this. Sending you lots of hugs and a shoulder to cry on

You donít have to be ďok.Ē This is really hard. We are with you and hold your virtual hand and we cry with you as you grieve and wail and weep. You are not alone.

Itís hitting me this morning. Iím completely and utterly heartbroken. Iím an only child and I feel so lost and alone. She had become such a rock to me throughout this past year and we had become so close. We talked every single day - on Saturday night we had talked for over two hours - just about nothing...and everything.

I donít know how Iím going to do the days ahead of me. The months and years terrify me even more.

Iím just so tired of grief and loss. Just so very very tired.

Losing your parents is so hard. I lost both of mine within a year and then divorced XWH#1 the same year. The fact that I had to make the decision to cut both of their life supports off made it that much hardier to endure. All these years later I still miss talking to my Mom everyday but it does get better with time. I am so sorry for you loss.

I lost my mother 18 months ago - it's hard stuff. I agree with Minnesota - you don't have to be okay right now.

We're here.

I lost my dad when I was 18. Before I figured out that he was a cheater, which has left me conflicted about my memories of him. On the positive side, those realizations have brought me and my mom closer. I dread the day that I have to face this also.

I'm so sorry for your loss.
