I was so sorry to hear about this. MH, you are in my thoughts. Thank you both for all you have done, for so many hurting people.

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover-Mark Twain

It has been a very long time since I had logged on. I’ve been feeling a little off lately and couldn’t sleep so I came on to read and came across this post.

MH, my deepest condolences. I wish I made my way back sooner. I was not very active on the site, but DS helped me in the beginning and that is something that I am eternally grateful for. What a wonderful life and a beautiful soul. I have been in tears reading this thread and all of the words of love and support.

(((DS in Heaven)))

I can’t believe it’s already another year that you’re gone.

Two years went by in the blink of an eye.

I think of you every day, my sister, but especially in these days surrounding the holidays.

I miss you more than I can explain.

Merry Christmas with the angels, sweet DS.

Happy birthday, sweetie! Really, really hoped we'd get to spend part of our double-digit milestone birthdays together this year, like we did with the big 5-0. You sure did know how to throw one hell of a party! Miss you!

Checking in today to send my loving thoughts up to the heavens and wish my dear, sweet sister friend a Happy Heavenly Birthday.

Your name comes up at least a few times a week, whether it’s sharing a memory with LD, or telling a story to a friend who didn’t know you, or just in sharing a lesson learned from you with someone...It always starts with “My dear friend J, who we lost much too soon two years ago, taught me....”

I will never look at Hello Kitty, a bottle of Patron, or a certain belt that I have hanging in my closet, without smiling...

I miss you every day. You are always a part of me. Life isn’t fair, and I will never stop feeling you in my heart, a part of it tucked away with love and gratitude, so much appreciation for the light and love you brought into mine and LD’s lives.

I miss you, my cherished friend.

DS, you are forever in my heart. Thank you for sharing your beautiful spirit with me. I will always try to live by the example you have set. I love you and miss you every day and am sorry you had to go so soon, it just doesn't seem fair.
