On my mind tonight is that it's time for me to come out of the closet..... I am a cross country skiing fan. Big time. Used to be my hobby for a few decades. I follow world cup, lower level racing and gushed over the Olympics. I follow them on Instagram... There, I said it. I feel better now.

Second is women's biathlon (cross country skiing + shooting). Something about women in the snow with rifles turns me on. blush

14 years married today. Feel so confused on how to feel.

Lost baby buck yesterday. Found him dead. Breaks my heart. Tempted to bring other doe inside with her sister snd bottle feed. Mom goat is doing a shitty job this time around.

Runt goat, now named Milly is doing great. Still super small but follows us around the house and eats like a champ.

Day four of no buses and closed schools. Even if I wanted to drive them I can't. Snow sucks but ice sucks more!!!

I always wanted to do this. That or be a equestrian rider for show jumping at the Olympics. My dd is a crack shot with a rifle and hand gun. I mean shes fucking awesome. Also with bow and arrow. So I'm looking at getting her a gun club membership or archery. Something because she's amazing.

I have my eye appointment tomorrow. I am so excited to get new glasses. Maybe even see if I can get Lazer eye surgery.

A couple of things.

The Google maps image isn't totally clear but clear enough for anyone who knows me to know it's me. I saw a reel on fb of a guy whose father was shown on Google maps gardening well after his death. The image was a comfort to the son.

Yes we own tarantulas. A 11 yr old Indian Ornamental, pink toe and curley hair. The last two are newer and just slings, or babies. The 11 yr old was my gift to wh. He has her tattooed on his arm. Longest living captive owned was 12 years so she's old now. It will be a very sad day when she passes. I wanted to breed her but could never find a male. She's quite the girl. I hand feed with tongs. She has grabbed the tongs before and pulled. She's incredibly strong. And larger than my hand.

I read Sag to be short for Sagittarius lol. But yeah we tend to sag as we age. Perfectly normal lol.

After 2 years of mostly staying home and thus not wearing a bra I have found wearing one now to be torture! Ugh! Let those girls be free.

It's a comfort thing. I don't care if they sag. They arent meant to be up my my chin anyways lol. And my melons are just way to big to be pushed up and squished just to make others drool.

Think I'll treat myself to some sports bras.

I will probably go get a coffee and donut tomorrow after my eye appointment. Hopefully the kids will be in school so I dont have to worry about rushing home.

I'm sorry you're having a rough time. Sometimes a good cheesy movie helps.

Thanks. It’s really not that bad. My daughter has been wanting to sleep in my room since she got back from her dad’s summer visitation. She has been sleeping in my room (not in my bed) for 7 months straight so when she’s at her dad’s for the weekend it’s noticeably quiet. She is going to be a teenager next year so I know this won’t last forever. Sometimes she will come in my room and see me crying. "Mom are you watching one of your shows again?" I’m guilty blush if you can’t cry over a tv show what can you cry over.

Sugar gliders sound amazing. Are they hard to take care of?

Lost baby buck yesterday.

I’m sorry for your loss.

Sugar gliders sound amazing. Are they hard to take care of?

Yes and no.

They are an exotic so they do require special care. Mostly regarding food. There's many pre-made glider diets out there but I found anyrhing in pellet form mind didn't like. Theres a powder you mix with water nut again, same thing every day and they get cranky.

I make thr modified Leadbeaters mix and provide varied fresh fruits. I also feed super worms as a treat. I see some peopke feed cockrocaches or moth larva but the first one is banned in Canada. Go figure.

Gliders are nocturnal so don't expect to see them out during thr day. Evening and all friggen night lol. Ours are in smaller cages in my bedroom where its super warm. Their huge enclosure in the living room isnt heated, my bad. With the house getting chily out there at night we brought them in our room. They love their enclosed wheel which I hear going most of the night. laugh

Now that I can post again I wanted to add that gliders make a variety of noises.

The can bark. They can also make what seems like an engine sound. That's thr "I am pissed off" noise.

They sorta chirp and squeak too.

I went for my eye exam after probably a good fifteen years since my last exam. Surprisingly my eyes aren't as bad as I thought and they are healthy.

I'm so happy! I have a new prescription that just sharpens things up more. I don't need transition lenses yet as my reading sight is ok. He also said since I only put my glasses on to drive it wouldn't be good for my eyes. I go back next week to pick frames.

I want something bold and dramatic.

Fi ally taking care of me! (The kids and wh all had their eye exams and new glasses).

On my mind today is how SICK I am of winter. And the changing weather. Wearing layers of clothing and heavy socks in the house -- and then having to turn the AC on four days later.... then waiting for the next ice storm. I SO Wish mother nature would make up her MIND! I've been socked in this house since Tuesday, a captive of 6 inches of ice on the roads, can't even walk to the mailbox without falling on my butt. And now I see it will be 71 degrees in three days.

My son. My lovely son...says to me the other day "mom you have quite a moustash". shocked

The insult of being an older woman. Hair now grows where its not supposed to. Luckily all of my facial hair is very light and thin...but apparently more noticeable than I thought. Where my wax?!? GRRRRRRR

I am wondering if I'll get any sleep tonight.

I have my three female gliders and one male in a large cage beside my bed. Other young male is in his own cage beside it.

For the past few nights one of my females has successfully escaped the cage...

As in me waking up in the darkness to "something" jumping on me.

NOT a fun way to wake up!!!!!!!!!

The bars of the cage are less than an inch. I have wired and zap strapped all the sides together so she can't push them apart. (They all clip together with the bottom and top).

All of the access doors are LOCKED!

Yet this flying squirrel still managed to get out. ...grrrrr

None of the other gliders have gotten out. Which is good because Bob bites! The girls are ok but Bob is admittedly an asshole laugh

If she escapes tonight I have 2 options. Put her in the smaller cage with the young male and hope they get along or break out my other cage thats all metal.

Both options suck. The other cage is smaller and has its own stand welded on so I cannot put it where the current cage is and space is limited in here.

The other male isn't of breeding age yet and while they can see and hear eachother I would have to stay up all night to observe their interactions.

It's funny. They know I am watching. None of them have come out of their hide box or pouch yet.

And this gal isn't my only escapee.

Momma goat and baby escaped their side of the trailer. This left baby exposed to the boys who nearly killed her. Why are males all assholes? Like seriously why...?

We now have two bottle baby goats inside. Actually new goat is drinking from a bowl and eating pellets. She refused the bottle. Runt baby is doing good still feeding from a syringe.

I think it's going to be a long night.

Hah, it's warmer here in Michigan. But that's a mixed blessing around here. It is the start of the 5th season in our lovely state, the "pot hole" season. Dirt roads are washed out, paved roads have craters. My tire sidewall died and I'm getting new ones put on right now.

I swear there's a tire shop on every corner around here because of the D*** roads. We supposedly had a governor elected to fix them. I'm thinking it's another lie politicians tell- snake oil promise. Really, pot holes are like homelessness- a part of the living conditions for all humanity. You can do things to improve the situation, but it will never truly go away.

Good news is, I had the money to buy 2 new tires and they had them in stock!

Now I'm good on those for another 35kmi at least. Gives me some time before I have to buy the other 2 as well.

I tried to buy two tires after one blew out on me. Shop wouldn't sell me two. Had to be four.

Not happening since these were pretty much NEW tires.

My brother got me two all season and then four winters.

My hands are bloody.

Horse broke North side of fence. Wasn't until I got out there and realized the ENTIRE FENCE IS DOWN. North snd east sides. Like 300-400 feet of fence. FML.

Strung up rope since wh put my 1350 foot roll of electric rope down and can't remember where.... mad

I might have to go get some electric tape and a plug in fencer so this mare gets a damn good zap and learns to leave thr fence alone. 100 acres to frolick in and she wants to go hang with the goats... rolleyes
