On Saturday, my girlfriend of five years and I got married. It was a small, but lovely DIY service in our front yeard. Just family and a couple friends were in attendance as we promised forever love and support.

All my kids and grandkids were there, including my youngest daughter who is still struggling with the divorce between her mom and me. Oh well.

Still, it was lovely and my wife and I are very excited to lead our lives together for the final decades of our lives.

Trust can be found. Hope springs eternal!

Congratulations!!! Wishing you much happiness in the years to come.

No one changes unless they want to. Not if you beg them. Not if you shame them. Not if you use reason, emotion, or tough love. There is only one thing that makes someone change: their own realization that they need to.

Cheatee, I'm so very happy for you!

(Side note, my phone autocorrect always wants to call you "cheater"😂. Responding to your posts always takes me a little more time to fix it, while yelling at my phone. Haha)

Have a beautiful life with your new wife. And I'm glad your family was in attendance, esp your daughter.

Congrats!!!

These posts are VERY important. I remember being a newbie. Once in awhile I would sneak a peek into NB just to see if there really was light at the end of that dark, dark tunnel.

Even though I was not in a position to believe I would get there, it was very helpful to see that others were living new chapters in their books!

I am sure your post is helping folks you don't even realize. Someone right now is in their darkest place, getting out of bed is a struggle...and they see this and know they can strive for their very own NB.

So best wishes to you and your SO!!!!! And to anyone sneaking a peek - you hang in there. Let yourself heal, get any help you can get and do not give up.
