It's just so good to be able to be UP and doing a few things. My two puppies (and my Grand-dog) so happy I was up, in the living room - as I have been 'living' in my bedroom, close to the heating pad. I managed some laundry, some minor chores - and cooked. I also checked on a couple of cases that I had delegated to someone else. It was great to feel normal. In a few days I will start my outside walking in the evening, to try to build back some muscle. I lost a total of 21 pounds (got down to 99 lbs.) but I am back UP to 110, the weight I like to be. But I want my muscle back, my firm arms and my softball player legs. Sure hope they aren't gone forever.

Hello everyone~ Just checking in. It's been four month tomorrow since my cancer surgery. I'm doing well and up and about. Still staying in due to Covid though. I've had to have two pain management treatments for the loose nerves around the rib cage area, which cause a LOT of pain. But that is about gone. I'm still having a little trouble eating and gaining weight but slowly that's changing.

My young cousin's husband is in ICU with covid. They have only been married three months and just started building a new home. I feel so bad for her - and him. He was hospitalized Sept. 1 and is still on a vent.

Take care and stay safe!

Im glad to hear you are doing well.

So sorry about your friend. Covid is still very much a big deal. I wish more people took it seriously.

5 months and 9 days since the surgery to remove the lobe on my lung due to cancer.

I'm doing very well. I have two scans behind me and so far, so good. The pain is gone thanks to my wonderful pain management doctor who gave me injections to 'freeze' the loose, dangling nerves that were severed during surgery. I told him I just wanted to kiss him, I felt so much better.

This week I had the second scan which was a contrast scan with an IV. Since the beginning of all this, I have had the worst experiences with IV's being put in. Same this week, my arm is black and blue from the person having to try three times with a large needle. Is there no special training for this? It hurts like hell. I've never had trouble with Iv's before and have always been told I have good veins. Maybe my veins have changed?

I told my sister that all these people should be working at the Dollar store inside of poking needles in arms.
