Well i cant say ill ever eat my little Giz. If anything i want to get him his own girl and see if i can breed out those white eyes. When his pupils are in the light the whole eye looks white with a hint of blue.

Why eat the eye?!? Ugh. Gross.

Birria. Mmmmm. I usually ask, chivo o res to see if it's goat or beef. Either is good, but chivo is more traditional.

Sweet little goats who know nothing of spring or summer. What will they think when the snow melts?

Thank you everyone for your wisdom and healing.

They have these lense things that offer protection from the sun, and stick like things that go over my ears to hold them on my head. And there's that other part. Yup.

The mom amd babies are still confined to the maternity shed. The area i wanted to out them outside has flooded. French drain going in soon.

So my brother is dropping off a bunch of extra fencing he had so i can let the goats out in our back yard. The babies are huge. Horns are out and thr running jumping acrobatics is in full swing. Totally cute unless they are jumping on you lmao

Anyone else get that stupid middle of Spring snow (that usually doesn't happen in their region this late)?

It was beautiful and strange - just wish the temps hadn't also dropped low enough to burn some of my delicate plants that had already popped. Hopefully they'll sprout some new growth. Bitch bitch whine whine....

Well i plant vegetables. Popular with the family are green and yellow beans, carrots and snap peas. The kids thought it was cool that green tomatoes turned red if you picked them and sat them on the windowsill but refuse to eat them. Our other plants didn't make it, well they may have but we got no cucumbers etc. I suspect the resident bunny got into the garden at one point.

I have to ask where you get the idea that i, little innocent me, would be planting "the dead bodies of your (my) latest victims?" Thats sorta creepy

Just saw this question.

Ah...well I don't have enough sun to do the veggie thing beyond some herbs on the deck. Jealous as there's nothing better than homegrown veg.

I'm a native plant/wildflower type me'self. Style wise, I have one foot in the Japanese garden and one foot in an English woodland.

Garden puttering was a big piece of my "therapy" post Dday. Playing in the dirt is my Zen place for sure.
