Thanks, Dazed .... this is the most I have laughed since D-day. Wish I could show my husband this ( he would laugh his ass off too ) but he has been a bad boy and is in the corner.

I am so glad this thread was bumped and bumped......I missed it and am sooooo glad I could read it.

My only PI screw-up.....well, really two......the PI and a helper were both following H...both lost him...that was a fruitless and expensive night.

Then the stupid PI called me once without blocking his number on my home phone and so I had his official PI company name on every phone's caller ID in the house. I ran around like a manic deleting each phone's list.

I loved your story....would never share it with H...because I was considering putting a recorder in his car.

However.thanks to you and your story..I will super glue a strip of velco to the underside of the dash and one on the recorder....AND use duct tape just to be sure.

You are a GREAT teacher...

I have not read this entire post, but wanted to say thanks for this -- I am laughing and don't do much of that lately! Love the idea that he thought it was a bomb!
