I’m good….hes good…also out of town. Tomorrow is the 7th anti-versary. But…yesterday….I had to put down the best dog who was there while I wept through discovery and cuddled me. She guarded me from all things cat shaped. She read my mind. My FWH wasn’t her greatest fan. Long story.
But she was always there….and I’m sad about that. His response was that he was sad he wasn’t here to support me through it. He’s been checking in a lot.
Was glad for her.

(((LadybugMaam))) I truly know this loss and I am SO SORRY to hear of it. What a stark contrast it was for you during those times. Nobody can really understand that bond, unless they've experienced it.
I am so sorry you had to go through this by yourself, again. :(

Losing a beloved pet is the absolute worst and so so painful. I am so sorry you had to let your doggo cross the rainbow bridge.
His response is wild. And unfortunate. Sending (((hugs))).
