Their baby is now a few months old

OW (now GF as they have been together a long time, he has been gone a long time and is STBX) seems to be apart from the baby a lot

My IC says she probably didn’t want the baby
ie baby trapped him

She is so not a nice person
Neither is he

Sorry to type here I just didn’t know where else to put it

That poor child. Also sucked into a sh!tty situation by 2 sucky people.

Honestly what goes through their heads when they bring in another child?

Hard to watch from the sidelines. That poor child. I hope there are others around who will care for this child.

Survived two affairs and brink of Divorce. Happily reconciled. 10 years out from Dday. Reconciliation takes two committed people to be successful.

So crazy yo bring a baby into that mess.

And even though you are removed from it all, it has to generate some odd emotions. Let those ride and then move on.

I can empathise JW. I am in a similar situation. My ex left me for the OW and their baby is now months old too. Luckily I have no ties or contact with any of them. But it still hurts.

It’s hard. But we are better away from them. I remind myself of that daily and one day it wont hurt anymore.

Sending you strength and a hug.
