On the topic of hot glue.

Dd had a school project to create a plant cell. We did a 3D one out of Styrofoam that we cut to section and added all the parts via hot glue. Dd did all of the painting and labelling but yes I hot glued all of the tiny parts on since i didnt want her getting burned....i did enough of that to myself lol

Her teacher told her that from now on all projects have to be done AT SCHOOL so she knows dd is doing it on her own.

Well shit!

The school glue wasnt holding it together. rolleyes

How about the Christmas Story posts. You pour all the thought and emotion into the post. You envision the OP dancing around reading it.

So we keep the Christmas story playing all day Christmas Eve and Christmas Day ( on TBS). In the movie Ralph writes an essay about wanting a BB gun for Christmas. In his day dream the teacher thinks it’s the best thing ever written, she dances around reading it. She writes on the board Ralph A+++++.

Yea it was day dream, but fun while it lasted. 🤣🤣🤣

Merry Christmas all you Thread Killers.

Hi Dragn I thought The first one was much better. From all that I saw of the second one, it missed the mark for me. My kids thought the same.

So yesterday I fell on black ice walking my dog, my head bounced on the sidewalk… thankfully I had a really thick hat on which was cushioning, so all is ok today other than a stiff neck. My fall was flailing, I bounced, I laid there holding my head for about 3 minutes, the dog circled (and stole my hat). All in all say 5 to 6 minutes on the ground.

There was a guy in a delivery van, watched the event, for the entire time with his window open. Drove off without even a ‘you ok?’

I was so mad at the utter lack of empathy and caring. Wth is wrong with people. Is this really our society today…. I hear about this often it was my first experience with it recently. So disappointing.

Posting here in case I am the thread killer. Worth another attempt. 😊😃😁

You'd think he would have at least asked if you were ok...

Yesterday i did our weekly shop.

Had to stop at the pet store i always get our feeder insects from. Its a small shop and i have known the owners since before i knew wh.

Their building is attached to another that has been vacant. Yesterday there were workers there.

When i came out of the store two men caught my attention. One was holding the others hand, man 1 in obvious pain.

Put my crickets in thr van and walked to them, asking if everyone was ok. Even from a distance i could see the man's hand wasn't right. Entire pinkie finger was out of joint, sitting below the joint more in the palm. Totally freaky. He said it was due to a previous injury and happens now and then. I advised that it was probably best to get to the ER and as i said that he reefed on it and it popped back. Big crunch. Ouch! Still advised best to see a doctor to make sure it wasnt pinching any nerves or blood vessels.

I always stop and check on people. Of course that's bitten me in the ass before. Stopped at an accident once and was told in not so nice terms to piss off by the male driver. Many times since when i havent felt safe enough to investigate i have just called emergency services.

Tallgirl. I hope your head and neck feel better. Any change please seek medical attention
