Ok TG - that's hysterical. I don't know how I missed that one. Good stuff right there.

Chili

This is For you.

Two weeks ago or so probably four by now , my team had a big celebration party. It’s actually exactly 4 weeks ago. It was at the top floor of a pub. No air-conditioning and a hot steamy day. As always I was hot. Having hot flashes in the humidity. So the first thing I do when I’m hot is to get napkins to so I can wipe away the sweaty face. So attractive! So I am wiping and talking and wiping and talking. The person I was speaking to said to me, you have a bit of napkin on your face. A 3 x 3 piece of napkin fell on the table. I do not know how long it had been on my face. I was so embarrassed. This is a classic tallgirl story.

Yo TG - you didn't pull the napkin on face again now did you? (You posted something on July 7th about it).

If you did, I still have the same reply:

Tallgirl: there is nothing wrong with a little napkin on your face. As far as paper products go, that one isn't particularly mortifying.

And if it wasn't a repeat, then see - that right there is a good thing! I could start a thread of embarrassing/boneheaded things I've done which are much more mortifying than your little napkin oopsie. Those of course are burned into my memory forever.

Lol. It was the same time. That half of a banana scene Made me think of it. Sorry, I sometimes forget stuff, these days my memory is not quite the same

I once told 12 IT people that my VP could not get into his wife. I brilliantly repeated this multiple times in the email. Spellcheck changed Wi-Fi to wife. I may have also mentioned that he was most frustrated. And He Had tried to get in to his wife multiple times in the main meeting room At the time of said frustration. I asked if they could help him - OMG. Lol.

I may have also called two teams D&C in an email subject line. That was changed pretty quickly.

I have told several people at work that I love them when Saying goodbye on the phone.

Now I have to go looking, Chili.

I was waiting a long time to sneak in and say "stake through the heart, thread" which probably wouldn't end this one as someone would reply. Worth a try, though.

Chili - no. As in I joined a forum based website (if that is how you word it) and then once I really got going and posting, benefiting and feeling really good about being a part of the community the entire forum (website and all) collapses in on itself. In two cases the entire website disappeared. The third is limping along. These weren't websites that had just popped up and then POOF. Not "fly by nights" but websites that had been around for years.

Well...if we keep the slow pace of posting our trash on here the way we did this last summer, we'll be killing treads instead of threads because we'll still be limping along with this thread while the snow is falling outside covering our tracks.

Speaking of which...I think my little family alone had over 12 different flat tires this summer to deal with not counting any tires my two older sons might be responsible for.

2 on the 4WD truck. 2 on the "new" project car. 1-2 on the family minivan. 1 on my daughter's car. 1 on the ATV trailer. 1 on another trailer I own, IIRC. 1-2 on the ATV itself. 2 on the old work van. 1 on the old conversion van. 1 on the boat trailer, possibly (I still need to double check that). 1 or 2 on the ATV dumpster/landscaping pull-behind trailer. And I'm not even sure about the other 3 trailers I haven't even mentioned at this point or the RV or other 2 vehicles either!

Top THAT!

I think that makes ME the top Tread-Killer of the bunch on here
