You can find white squirrels in Exeter. Thank you for the giggles. Needed them just now.

Hey now that wouldn't be nice to the squirrel lol.

I have the trap. I'll leave it in the garage overnight to see if there's any in there and release in the morning if I catch any.

Oh they are still there.

They are still there, tushnurse, but the numbers are diminishing every year. Last count was less than 150, if I remember correctly.

Long day today, went to the doctor because I had discomfort in my lung - figured it was still an infection from a recent nasty cold. So, lesson learned. Don't ever tell a baby doctor that you have pain in your chest.

He is actually lucky I let him live: he actually said "well you are 53". TWICE. Seriously, his mother left him unfinished.

5 hours in emergency to confirm that I am healthy, and have an infection in my lung. ( I hate hospitals). At the hospital I met Doctor Duggie Howser - he was 15yo I swear - I wanted to straighten his hair. But he was smarter than my doctor, didn't repeat my age like he felt sorry for me.

I'm taking my 53 year old healthy ass up to bed.

I want a giraffe.

Yeah, I guess if I'm honest about my own "cute animal faves" I've got a thing for river otters myself.

I like that they don't outgrow being fun to watch like many so baby versions of critters often do.

I'll like that about certain monkeys as well, I suppose.

And actually that would include squirrels, meerkats, pygmy goats and puppy-hearted dogs as well when they are really interactive and over the top.

Pygmy goats are either really adorable or total jerks. ask me how I know...

It's the being cute that helps cope with the jerk goat...

Orangutans are my favourite ape. Adorable

Ya need to work on the context and timing for your evil laughter. It didn't have the impact if could've.

But, in other unrelated news...

The other day we were talking about white squirrels, and earlier on, we discussed octoscrotums (which my phone has now accepted as a word). In my mind I thought, how can I combine the two concepts so that I can further legitimize the word octoscrotums?

So, I think we should begin a new art movement depicting white octosquirtums as a way to raise awareness to the endangered species.

Do we have any artists participating on this thread?

Well, ya know, it would be great to do it as graffiti art in subways and bridges. Maybe billboards.

Imagine, you're just driving down the road and then you hear...

"Mommy/Dad?"

"What is it?"

"Why does that squirrel have eight balls?"

Wait wait wait.....Eight balls? Ie testicles? No one would notice the number contained in ONE scrotum, they would just think the squirrel got in a fight and lost and is swollen lol. Thus we must put two balls in each scrotum totally four scrotums. Now THAT would gain some attention. Of course the poor little guy wouldn't be able to walk.
