Depends on personal preferences and other factors. Do you prefer freezer on top, bottom, side by side; french door, multi doors; ice and water through the door, 'smart' fridge that can tell your phone while you shop if something is low or out? Lots of things to consider any more. A brand that does one well doesn't necessarily do all well.
Personally, I do online research on Consumer Reports and look at reviews on the sites for places that sell them. I start with the lowest rated reviews to see if I could live with that and go from there. Good luck.
I know someone who ordered a different model because of reviews that showed the ice shot out with too much force.

Whirlpool, GE and Samsung usually make decent fridges... I have a Whirlpool fridge that has worked issue free for several years. But kind of depends on your price range. Consumer Reports is usually a good starting point for research and should have some pretty good comparisons for various price points.

Willing to pay 2000.00
Need Ice and Water on the door
French Door with Freezer on the Bottom
Looking at GE at the big box stores
Had LG - last only six years and was crap for sealing and keeping food fresh and the door broke like 1.5 to 2 years ago and no parts to fix... been dealing with it since.

With that budget you should have a lot of solid choices to fit your description.

I have a Kenmore side by side frig with ice in the door that I have had since 1989. Water in the door was not available then.
Its Almond color and I have never needed it to be repaired.
My induction cook-top is 1990, also Kenmore and still going strong. I had it repaired once when we moved to another house in 1994.
My trash compactor is also Kenmore and I have had that since 1994, likewise my double oven. No repairs on either.
I do not know if they made things better in those days.
I always empty the ice-maker when we go away, just in case, but I will probably buy another Kenmore when the frig finally dies..

We bought a French Door with freezer drawer below Samsung when we bought our most recent house 7 years ago. Still works great. Water & Ice in door. Bought from a scratch & sent place because it sits inside a cabinet, so no visual of the sides. Originally 2500, but I believe we got it at 1750.

FWSO won’t consider Samsung

I've had a Kenmore freezer-on-top refrigerator since 1990. Never any problems so far but I expect it will quit one day. 27 years so far! I don't know the quality of Kenmore these days. I do suggest checking Consumer Reports.

If your current fridge has cabinets around it, make sure the new one is the same size.
Look at the big box hardware stores, they will have a selection of brands and styles that you can get your hands on, like open the doors, reach the shelves, see where you would put things, etc. Kick the tires, so to speak.
Please get a manufacturers extended warranty, not a third party warranty. My students/graduates work in this field and all of them say extended mfg. warranty.

Ditto Consumer Reports...free at your library!
Realize usually you won't get it the same day or next.
I bought a Samsung and it died THREE DAYS LATER. Wouldn't touch with a ten foot pole.
Sad fact is they really don't make them like they used to.

I bought a samsung freezer on bottom, snack drawer on top and ice/water in the door 5 years ago at Home Depot. Its been great. Never an issue but I would be very mad if I had issues with such an expensive appliance in less than 15 years. I bought all my appliances plus a washer and dryer (built a new house). I did have an issue with the dishwasher (LG) right off the batso I called the service center because 1 of the cycles didn't work but shit hit the marriage fan and I never set up an appointment. 1.5 years later the dishwasher stopped working, Called LG, they still showed I had called before, gave me a local repair store and got it fixed on warranty.
I'm sure every brand has some defective models. Good luck with what you get.

I have a GE profile fridge and I wouldn't recommend it. I've had it repaired numerous times. I'm just hoping it can limp along so I can let it stay with my house when I sell it.
I've had good luck with Whirlpools, but can't speak to any other brands. My parents always bought Kenmore and Kitchen Aid appliances and had good luck with those. But again, I believe appliances were either built better many years ago, or they weren't so complicated and had so many parts to potentially fail.

Well, I was going to get on here and tell you to stay far, FAR away from LG... but I see you already know that.
Sigh... We have an LG french door, freezer on the bottom. Ice maker quit working just after the 1 year warranty ran out. They, of course, will do nothing except direct us to a repair shop to pay to get it fixed - which I refuse to do given how much we paid for the @#$@#$#% thing in the first place.
Never again. Nothing ever ever ever from LG ever again.
Ever.

Unfortunately, appliances are not built to last today! A far cry from my Kenmore washer/dryer that lasted close to 30 years.
I will NEVER own another GE anything!
I have an LG French door/Freezer on bottom frig and the ice maker went out at 3 years -- that was a $350. repair. I have friends who have had the same problem with various other makes so I think it's a crapshoot when you buy one now on how long it will last.
If the ice maker goes again I've already decided I'll get a small counter top ice maker for less than $200. A neighbor has one and loves it.

After much reviews, conversation and going to look at the refrigerators we bought a......
Samsung!! Has four "doors" French doors, freezer on the bottom, can access frequently used items thru the smaller door without opening the whole fridge up... and has a drawer that pulls all the way out for lunch meats or sodas or butter or whatever.
Got a decent price and 24 months same as cash deal from Home Depot... Will be delivered on Thursday.

Wow --- sounds awesome!!!!
I forgot to mention that I had to replace the bottom shelf that holds the crisper drawers -- just the plastic frame that holds the glass shelf ---- a cool $ 100. --- kinda like a car --- wouldn't want to build it by just buying the parts!!!
Congrats!!!
