Mailed the cards this morning! Expected delivery = 12/7.

DS - I hope it's ok that I stuck an item for the auction in the same box. It's a baby quilt.

I was gonna mail my cards out today, but I don't see a trip to the post office with the kiddos as having a good turnout. I'm having a birthday party today and I still need to get ice cream... and finish cleaning. Meanwhile the kiddos are making the stuff I cleaned yesterday messy!! I hope they make it on time after I mail them on Monday.

What do you do with the cards that don't arrive by the 9th?

Failure is success if we learn from it.

Hey, I love getting any cards, and it is super cool to get them from different religious perspectives or no religious perspective at all.....doesn't matter what they say (well okay, kiss my a$$ probably wouldn't be so fun, not that I haven't heard that before) but other than that, it's all good!!!!

I too want to apologize for the religious nature of most of my cards.......I was going to DIY, but that only lasted for about 15 cards before I realized it wasn't going to happen. So I used the ones I found in my Christmas box, which are more religious than I would have picked for this. But they were here when I was motivated enough to sign them all.

And if you get a speshul one that I made, I apologize for that.

I mailed mine yesterday. The post office lady was seriously annoyed with me that they had to stay rubber banded - she so wanted to separate them by size (I used a bunch of mis matched cards) and put them in a large envelope. We put them in a way too big box instead.

sent mine out today. Had to wait in line twice, once to get the stamps and then after affixing the appropriate stamps had to stand back in line to weigh and mail the whole thing. Sheesh. But it could have been worse. This PO is not the speediest, pleasant, but not speedy.

Should be there in a few days.

Mine went out priority mail on Friday. Sadly, no glitter; when I packed to move, I made sure the glitter was packed where I could find it easily...yeah, right...

Okay....mine are in the mail......and get this, my Post Office is so small...they don't carry the 44 cent stamps....they have just "forever" stamps....and the postal lady said if it's going to Canada - just use two "forever" stamps....they did have the 98 cent stamps though......

And...I just want you to know...everyone is probably mad at me in this town....cause I don't think anyone has ever approached the P.O. counter saying, "I need 2-98cent, 1-80cent, and 59 regulars, please!"....well, not when there's about 15 people behind you waiting to buy a single stamp to mail a letter! After hearing an audible sigh, I had to turn around and say, "Relax a little!"

Please don't tell me I'm the last one to mail mine out......I'm use to saying, "Priority, Please!".....
