Last night I had my first "first date" in 20 years. Beach Dad (see my thread below) asked me out, and I accepted. We talked nonstop for 4 hours. And a simple hug goodnight, followed by texting and laughing from our respective homes.
That is all.

Geez Louise - one takes a few days away to do the holiday thing, Bleep returns in full force with her swagger and a Beach Beau all in tow. I tell ya what. Blink and you'll miss it! 
So so so happy for you that you are coming into your own. And going with the flow. Also sounds like you're not making any hard and fast rules for yourself in the process. Love it. See..."the before" won't always be a black curse hanging over your amazing spirit.

You ARE back. Hopefully there is chemistry, but if not sounds like you met a new friend. Both are.great. You’re off to a good start this year!

Thanks all! CaliNative, not sure about the chemistry, yet. I wasn't feeling the kiss the first time. Going with my new honed Bleep gut. We've been texting all week, lots of laughs and things in common. We made a second "date?" (Get together) for Monday. Going for a bike ride. Just rolling with it for now, but I really like his mind and personality. He is UNlike STBX in every way that I can see so far. So there's that.
He's intelligent (an engineer) and kind of a nerd. That alone is a huge attraction for me. I'll keep you all posted.
