When copying part of a post to reference in a reply, how do you hight that copied text? I see them highlighted a darker shade, can't figure out how that's done.

Select the portion of text you want to copy and paste in your message box.
Select that text, then use the quote box you see either above or below your message box.
If you keep asking people to give you the benefit of the doubt, they will eventually start to doubt your benefit.
