In this thread let's attack the "mind your own business" and not tell the BS fallacy.

So what's with "minding your own business" and not tell the BS ?

The BS's life is in danger and needs to know.

I can only talk about my situation but his actions were life-threatening to me on multiple levels.

There were a lot of affair supporters in the nasty online groups he was a part of and irl too. To them I say it's easy to blame the bs "until it happens to you".

I believe there would have been ways to ask me about consent... like a conversation starter with me could have been "I don't know what sort of agreements you and your husband have about other people..but..."

That way I could have said..."please tell me what you know about WH and OP."

These things are hard to know what to do. Again my experience only, but finding out about the affair while I was so physically sick especially caused severe infidelity trauma and I was lucky to have support or I could have taken my own life. So there was risk to me finding out and risk to me not...

I am grateful to this group. In many ways I owe them my life literally.

I was told - the obs drove hundreds of miles to tell me. He made attempted previously and my WH intervened..

I would have never got the truth is he didn't come to find me. I will forever be grateful.
