I watched.

Disgusting and nightmare Inducing.

Nightmare inducing? Oh I have one for you. DD went for a shower this morning and was taking forever. I asked through the door if she was done ans she said she hadn't even started. When I asked why she said because there was a spider in the shower.

I had to rescue her and destroy said spider....it was so big that when I smacked it with the fly swatter it left a huge smear on the wall....

Well yeah! It's a body smear with the legs all hanging out....totally nasty. These things are huge. I'd expect this from a tarantula. Not a common house spider.

So, actually, killed a centipede that was moving like at bullet speed and the legs kept kicking for an hour.

This reminds me of the scene in the movie The Rock when Nicholas Cage character asks Sean Connerys character if he could stop the bad guys legs from twitching after they dropped an air conditioner thing on his head lol

TimesNewRoman was trending today.

I saw this so I'm bringing it here. Feel free to add/ modify.

What your font says about you

Calibri- reads food packaging for fun

Times New Roman- gets to the end of the book without skipping.

Helvetica- addicted to the rhythm

Arial- I'm the sheriff of sans-serif!

Comic Sans- will kill again

I had to check to see what font I use. It's Calibri on Word. It's Calibri because that's what's always there. I don't change it. I should change to Times New Roman.

Chevy - nothing wrong with reading food labels for fun.

Just yesterday I found myself reading the label on a can of tomato sauce. It's tomato sauce. What more is there to find out. Aw shit! Calibri, it is. I sense more counselling.

So I spent a good amount of time searching through all of my setting to see of I was able to change the font on my keyboard (cell phone). Well theres not, that I can find anyways.

Just yesterday I found myself reading the label on a can of tomato sauce. It's tomato sauce. What more is there to find out.

Actually these days you never know what's really in the can.

I do love calligraphy ( wedding ) fonts but that is because I used to practice italic fonts with a dip pen and ink. I do like serif fonts. I know younger people tend to prefer the sans-serif fonts. I wish we had a choice of fonts here.

I changed my word default to Century Schoolbook. I like it because it looks lighter yet traditional. I write in that font and then change to another when appropriate.

Why did Papyrus become so hated? I think its fine for some uses. Maybe overused?

I heard sans-serif fonts are easier to read from a screen and Times New Roman is easier to read in print. I prefer reading a printed page. Long live books and magazines!

Long live books and magazines!

Here, here!!!!

A real book you can hold in your hand.

I guess I'm just not venturous enough. I've never tried to change fonts except for presentations I used to do years ago. Time to force myself to step out of my comfort zone.

ETA: Maybe I'll really step out and use emojis, too.

Completely on this bandwagon with kit and chevy. I hear reading from a tablet or something is easier on your eyes, but I just can't. The whole holding a book thing is just too ingrained as part of the experience for me. Maybe that will change. Not yet though.

Yo Dragn: did you notice how many little creature thingys were in your hieroglyphic pic? Just sayin'...you would probably totally rock that language.

Seeing as I use ASL here with the kids I'm sure we could go totally visual for all communication instead of speech or text lol. I find that meme funny because as descriptive as those pictures are theres still so much debate on certain ones and their meanings. One I didn't post for SPF because it was kinda racy.. the "coughing" emoji wasnt ummm coughing hahaha

I've had or have most of the animals in that pic. Ok no elephant but wh is dead set on one day owning a camel....no clue why he wants that...

One of the kids mentioned to me that DAD said all I do is play in my phone when they are at school... I replied with no I actually clean up after you guys AND your father and then I like to read. Kid replies "read ON YOUR PHONE" and I said no not on my phone and the kid says in a surprised way "you mean you read actual Books?!?".

Kids!!! Yes I read books. Sheesh!

I was looking for a middle finger salute emoji on the selection sheet. Didn't see one. Did see a thumbs up with a left hand. Works for me because I have a thumb on the left.

I have one on my emoji list that I can use here. Not sure if I'd get in trouble for doing that though lol.
