Ok its working. I found out asshat created his account a year before we were together and there was no posts, activity with photos etc. No updates either past creating date also.

Much more info on that site .. it was down for abit then came back up.

Its back up and running so I would advise if anyone wants the details .. the basic details, to do the search now before they get closed down.

The reason why people are up in arms about that site is because far more details are revealed just by searching the name or email addy ..

Reddawn thanks I see that now. I just went to search again and it is disabled again. I hope this means they are taking it down or being forced to for the sake of all the innocent people affected.

husband's says it was created dec 2013 and last updated on the same date. how does AM work? members just read a profile and contact directly without logging into AM? kindda like facebook messenger?

I checked on the AM sucks for WH'S AP (MOW) info and PRESTO! It was the karma bus! It turns out that her husband was the one who registered with all of his sex preferences. Status 2 again! Her BH was all over me to forgive my WH from day one, that I wasn't a good Christian if I didn't (btw, not Christian anyway).

It was down this morning but last night I found a lot of people on there I know. You can search by email or zip code and if you copy and paste the email into the search bar on Facebook, their profile pops up. Doesn't work for all emails, but the ones they have linked to their FB profile.

I've been lurking myself since the AM fall out! I don't agree with the publishing of the leaked data but do understand there are some spouses/partners that want to know the truth and respect their wishes to do so. My email was used and I've never had any involvement with the site and am concerned that people may find my email address and jump to conclusions!

Regarding the ashleymadison.sucks website for those of you who are concerned that you may have your full information on there or want to save any embarrassment of any other infidelities in your relationship there has been a post set up to report the information on this site.

If you go to the page on the topic so what do you think of the site, post number 19 gives you some links to report the site and the correct wording to use. I have reported this myself as I feel the email checkers are sufficient rather than full information.

I'd like to point out at this point I have had my email and personal details taken (I suspect someone has done this maliciously from my hacked email address) there are no pictures or credit card details on my supposed profile. I'm a happily married lady and have already told my husband when I was first informed of this as I have nothing to hide from him

From what I saw on asshats account .. there are no information other than user name, height, weight .. what they are into and what they are seeking. No credit card info. The IP addy and coordinates are listed, last time updated and whether photos were posted.

I understand that to this group this is a very significant event, and we are very rattled here but we need to THINK about what this means on a personal as well as societal level.

People are losing their jobs and in some severe cases are committing suicide and some people find this entertaining and saying they are getting what they deserve!

yes I would be with being checked on- I have nothing to hide on there. The only email addresses I checked were his and mine on the first link that was posted to see if it was actually true. I am not on AM, never have been so my address did not come up.

I was pretty certain there would be very few users from this little area so I did the zip code. I don't know any of the addresses that came up but was sure surprised how many there were.

I did get into AshleyMadisonSucks for a while. I got to page 99! of people that had signed up from my town! Quickly reviewing just the ones that had cc names attached I know 3 of them, business people I have contact with occasionally.

Latebloomer, I can actually see the irony in what I said. I dont in any way feel like screw you to anyone. Yes, I searched and got info on my fwh. I think every spouse should have that available to them as well, but I really don't like the amount of info they put out there. And the fact that anyone could search private details of our lives. It makes me ill. I hope that makes more sense. I guess we all have our own opinions on what should be out there. This I agree with completely, and I am kind of horrified by how casually people are peeking at their neighbor's business. As someone who joined to look for her FWH, I know my FWH can check the details and see that I never was active, but I DID pay to be completely removed, so an old CC is on there. (Long since defunct, thanks to Target and Home Depot hacks). So strangers and neighbors can assume stuff about me that is COMPLETELY wrong because of this meddling. I would not dream of checking anyone else's name or address or email. SOOOOOOO none of my business.

I wish I hadn't done it, but there is little rational thinking in the aftermath of DDay. I guess I will see at the neighborhood block party if anyone is looking hinky at me.
