I was stupid enough after multiple ddays to create profiles on just about every adult site trying to catch my WH.

And yes, my email is on AM, and it is the one I use for everything. I WAS smart enough not to upload pics tho, he wasnt lol.

Anyone know exactly what info has been leaked besides the email? I think what tipped me off to AM was something i read here about how their charges appear on credit card statements.

I found my WH's "secret" email address on one of those sites that supposedly can check to see if an email is in the AM hack dump.

Because of utter lack of any technological savvy, that is all I know or will probably ever know.

He claims he never visited the site.

Edit - I would advise against any member of this site sending personal information to anyone that they have never met. Especially with four posts. The potential for people looking to "help" has been increased with the exposure to media for SI. Please, be diligent.

I know it is really tempting for members to have all this information at their fingertips but you are compromising your own security when you hand your personal info to others here. Just because someone got through registration doesn't mean that they are trustworthy. Please be careful when sharing details and do NOT give your personal info to anyone you don't know.

In many States in the US and in several other countries adultery is illegal - some with criminal liability, others with civil consequences. 23 states in the US. Moreover North Carolina is one of seven states that still permits lawsuits for alienation of affection (the other states at the time of this article are Hawaii, Illinois, Mississippi, New Mexico, South Dakota, and Utah). How about the victims here in SI from these states, that find that AM actively promoted the crime against them, file a class action suit against AM and its founder and CEO Noel Biderman? AM is looking at a one billion dollar IPO? How about a billion dollar lawsuit instead?

However, something i find funny I have my own observations (work related), is that women have used male accounts because they get bombarded and a deluge of photos they don't want to see as a female account. So don't think it is all males. Personally i know of 4 women who used AM and the marriages are ending, they used male accounts and paid to PM other males they found and exchanged contact info to take off the site. It is an equal opportunity world, for both cheating men and women.

Also there is a ton of spam accounts and if you are a victim of ID theft or past Credit Card fraud, keep in mind that those accounts could have been used before passing judgement. People can use any email they wish.

Moreover AM has bot accounts to lure members to chat and spend money. Most sites do.

Hi I've just seen my husband's email account on the am site by searching on trustify.. it only told me that the email address was on there? Where can I find more info?

Learned over the past two days that 17 (!!!!) people I know (15 male) who work for the government are on "the list" - using their government email addresses. Also five people I know peripherally (3 male) at the White House. Again, using WH email addresses.

Saddest part? I am not the least bit shocked (that they're on there...I WAS a bit about them using work email for trolling AM).

I've downloaded the tor browser thingy and followed that link, which all worked until I tried to download the actual files? I'm a bit of a technophobe and have a MAC as well.. ?

I need more information to go on so this is really frustrating. I've searched through his phone and tablet and nothing. All I have to go on is his email address being part of the data dump according to trustify..

Why does it not show anymore information other than that? I'm so confused. All the newspapers are going on about people's profiles and sexual preferences ect being all there ready for anyone to see but I can't find anything?? Frustrated and annoyed.

How is everyone finding names and address? The search sites only let you search by email. Do you have to pay to get more info? If so how are people finding coworkers & neighbors? They must have just used their regular email address?

Do you think "the Internet" will ever publish the personal names & home address? I had to deal with this nightmare 2 years ago. I chose to keep it private and would feel so devastated all over again if our family found out and i had to go through it again.

So how does the media know about Josh Duggar for example? How did they find that info?
