I went to "follow" a friend, and saw that the link for "forget" was grayed out on her profile. She also has platinum.

I'm not interested in forgetting her, just curious why the link would be grayed out.

okay, this is kind of stupid ... but I wish I could "follow" myself so my own threads were highlighted automatically.

ETA: Awww, can't follow guides, mods or admin?

If you have an outbound PM to a user you will not be able to forget them.

Awww, can't follow guides, mods or admin?

And staff can't follow or forget anyone.

Just re-read (I'm such a skimmer!) and saw what you posted NIK. Thanks.

some of my early posts are still not showing, like my first post (my story).

is this not guaranteed, dependent upon which forum, or some astrological anomaly?

its not a big deal, but if there is a way to get them, that would be awesome.

thanks.

p.s. I wonder how many peeps will "forget" me. And who.

Odd, there is a grey unreadable post right after Ama's. Wonder what that could be?

This should be fixed. Please check this again and let me know.

How far back do the archives go? I seem to have a gap: if I view my "oldest" posts, I have 20 pages that ends on 8/20/2012, viewing "recent" posts it only goes back to 4/30/2013. I can't see anything between those dates - there is a gap in the archive I can't seem to access.

We started the archiving process in 2008. The archives contain all posts dating back to that year. The archives may contain more recent posts that you are not seeing yet. Periodically I run a script to harvest platinum members' posts from the archives so you will see them under "oldest" posts in SImplicity.

Your list of "recent" posts is limited to a total of 500 posts in SImplicity or 50 posts on standard SI.

Thanks MH. Just to be clear, eventually I'll see all my posts? Right now under Simplicity I see 500 posts from 12/3/11-8/20/12 if I select "Oldest Posts", and the last 50 if I select "Recent Posts", but I can't see any of the posts in between that gap.

Your archived posts will eventually all be visible in SImplicity. But as long as you are still posting there will always be a gap between oldest and recent posts.
