I transferred my water monitor into a larger enclosure. 8 feet long. He has large branches to climb on, a huge water bin, heated floor on one side and basking areas.

Ya know what he likes to climb on?

The walls. Plywood walls he can climb across with ease. He also likes to climb the cage wire at the front.

But whats funny is that if he sees me looking at him he freezes. Will stay so still as if thinking i cannot see him. Ever so slowly he will start to climb down then will make a dash for his cave. Over and over he does this.

Hes hanging from the wire now...

In contrast my Savannah monitor comes right out to greet me when i walk in the room.

Yesterday i found my white goose walking around the house...ie out of thr pasture. I told her that wasnt acceptable and started to walk towards her. She ran to the fence, flapped up and over it and then hit ice when she hit the ground. Ever seen a goose skate? I nearly peed my pants i laughed so hard. She did that wobble try to catch herself and totally failed.

From in the pasture the duck and other goose just went crazy. I assume they found it funny too laugh

Animals ARE funny!

My Chi-weenie dog had to get in every photo taken today -- looking straight at the camera. Posing.

About a mile from me a family have goats. Lots of goats. Big, little, all colors. The lady TRIES to have flowers and a pretty yard but the goats somehow manage to escape their pens and get out and eat everything up. There is a four way stop sign at their house and lots of times I've let other cars go so I can watch the goats. grin The big goats will let the little goats get on their backs to reach hangng plants or blossoms on trees, even after she put up little fneces around everything. They ARE
resourceful!

Dragn, sounds as if that goose knew exactly what you told her to do!

Our goats are amusing to watch most days. Right now they are round puff balls of fur that aren't venturing far from their trailer.

I was outside earlier. Could see my duck and grey goose but the white escapee was no where to be seen. I could hear her. It is snowing and shes white and the pasture is huge. Shes back there. My only concern eith letting the water fowl roam is that theres a pond on each side of our driveway at the road. North pond is mine, south pond is not. Its so close to the road for my comfort. Thats why we have been trying to dog out a pond at the back where its low and always wet. I really need a backhoe!!!

"It is snowing"

Please keep that stuff up there with you where it belongs. I think you are letting a few flakes escape across the border.

Does anyone remember a clip of a hippo farting and shitting and wagging its tail really fast spreading the crap everywhere???

That was taken at the Toronto Zoo

We were there.

Pretty sure you can hear my kids laughing and saying "ewe"

Anyways, did you know that pigs can do the same thing?

Of course they can also wag their tail when happy too.

So main lesson with pigs.

Dont stand behind them when their tail is wagging.

And share you did. I woke up to two inches of the fluffy white stuff. So very thoughtful of you.
