I think most people who have lived though this and then gotten out of it is: even if there were 0 fish in the sea out there for me - none - I would rather be alone than live through the nightmare of infidelity. If you like being alone, all the better.

But that's not your situation. The fact that you feel there are less fish in the sea however, is different than no fish at all. So there is still a chance you can find one that does not treat you with such disrespect. Life IS better once you get away from the abusive behavior bestowed upon you by your WP, alone permanently, or alone while you drop your line back into that massive sea out there and see who you find. I promise.

You are the only person you are guaranteed to spend the rest of your life with. Act accordingly.

I watched a TEDtalk a few years ago. The speaker was from the UK and was very clear that sex addiction is a real thing. She had great sympathy for her clients. She spoke of two of the saddest. One was single and yearned for a normal life with a wife but knew he could not do that to another person. He could not give up his addiction. The second was married and had enormous guilt over his. What you need to accept is that his addiction owns him. His life is having sex, thinking about having sex, lying about it, planning it etc. There is no room in there for a healthy life. And remember that whomever he has sex with you have sex with. You already found one disease. Don’t wait around until another one shows up.
This is tragic and all of us hate this has happened to you. You still have a life to live. Make sure to concentrate on your health because long term stress can wreck it. And good luck.

When things go wrong, don’t go with them. Elvis
