Him cheater, me imperfect human and wife/exwife. Four kids together, married 22 years, affair at 16 years, 6 years of struggling to put it back together, divorced 11 years now.

I'm not sure her Mother just swallowed it most of the time and suffered, at one point she scribbled out her WH face in many of the family photos.

It's funny to look through them, it's like those photos from the USSR edited to remove a party member who fell from grace.

I often thought of faking an affair to get her to confess more as she would feel we were even.

At one point my WW even said she wouldn't blame me if I had had an affair.

I am so glad you are healing and seeing the situation differently.

I am in a sexless marriage too. How common is this? I can’t wrap my head around it. Why not take care of the needs of your spouse. Although my WH is kind, attentive and present with me.. it’s like he has two personalities. So kind to my face while texting other women. How many I have no clue. I work, he’s retired and I don’t care to find out the details.
