Another idea....when my store redesigned, they had copies of the list of what products are in which aisle now. It was just a paper copy so you could take one. Maybe see if you can get one of those and you can write out your list in the new order so you at least know what area the peanut butter is in now, etc.

It is all a marketing technique. When they leave it alone, we go and buy the same things routinely. We put on blinders to the other products, etc. When they rearrange, it forces us to visually look around (and possible see something new we will buy).

Wahoo...for online shopping. When I put in "Peanut butter".....poof. lol

Wife prefers to do the grocery shopping as she likes to browse. I did it during covid and she was amazed at the speed with which I finished. I re-ordered the list in aisle order and just blazed through it. I get the same way with the big box hardware stores. It annoys me that even ones from the same company set up their aisles differently. I have stores from both chains in the area located on the next exits on either side. I tend towards the further exit (slightly bigger stores both brands) as they have larger inventories and I only need to remember one layout per brand.

Maybe they are changing the store to make it appear they have more 'stuff' than they really have? Our store shelves are getting more bare every week.

They acquired the vacant store space beside them and expanded. This is actually a good thing since the store had always been cramped, made worse when employees left carts of stock in the isles waiting to be put on shelves. They either blocked isles or made it difficult to navigate.

Now it's more open.

I didn't see any isle product lists, even the top signs were now wrong but it's been a week so maybe they have it all done and available.

Wh used to work in a grocery store and yes, relines were done all the time. Sometimes for new products, sometimes for sales, sometimes just to mess with our poor minds lmao.

When it comes to groceries I like to get in and out as quickly as I can. I didnt have much patience for people before covid and now I have even less. No more masks mean I can mouth off to people anymore and must watch that the look on my face doesn't appear like I'm casting a curse for them to get uncontrolled diarrhea while stuck in traffic and non stop sneezes. grin
