Illinois in general is pretty easy to navigate, especially the suburbs. There can be heavy traffic during rush hour though.

Don't know where you are coming from or your driving comfort zone, but that is a western suburb of the city and very drivable and easy to get around, as far as I'm concerned. I second the heavy rush hour traffic comment. Hope you go and love it.

The only caveat I have is Chicago rush hour has always seemed to be something like 4am to 9pm. You'll generally not have trouble getting around the suburbs once you are there. The issue is always the drive in and out to the various suburbs. Just leave yourself an extra hour or two from the Indiana border and you'll be fine.

PS. Watch your speed on 465 around Indy.

If you haven’t already seen the exhibit and gone home again, stop at the Morton Arboretum, too. It’s in Lisle, not far from the Kahlo exhibit, and has some really nice sculptures this year.
