I was wondering if you could give us an update. Your thread was a bid inspiration for me when I was going through hard times. I noticed that you were on 36YG's thread..

Thanks.

Hey ocdude:

I will try and do some sort of update in the next week or so. If I can get the energy. Some good some bad but cheating really is a horrible thing to have to deal with.

Thanks for asking. I read some threads and I get upset reading them. The worst thing about all of it was selling our home. That was a traumatic and I will update later.

SG,

I think everyone that is a regular on SI has wondered from time to time what happened to you and even your wife, as she was incredibly remorsdful from what I recall. Your post has inspired many newcomers on how to get out of infidelity quickly, to reduce the pain involved, if that's even possible. I hope that everyone in your family has healed and recovered. I guess you can add me to the list of those wondering how things turned out.

I just read the thread with SG's story. It's really impressive. I wish I had that kind of self-discipline to make lasting and wise decisions.

It calls my attention that SG repeatedly says he had a good marriage. Wasn't that worth fighting for?

I haven't D because I'm always second guessing myself, and our marriage hasn't been so good. In fact, he has cheated 3times EA and the 4th one was PA and EA.

I wish I had the guts!

Add me to the list of people hoping SG gives an update, but not for the reason you might think. Sure, I’m curious to hear what has happened in his life since his last update, but my curiosity is a pretty weak reason for him to share more of his story. Rather, I think there is value in sharing an update, particularly if it includes some pitfalls, to make SG seem a little more human.

Please don’t take that the wrong way, SG. What I mean by that is that you dealt with your problems so well and so successfully that I think some posters read your story and think, “I could never do that.” If you shared some of the challenges you’ve faced I think it would be inspiring to those who maybe haven’t dealt with their WS A(s) as successfully. Kind of an ah-ha moment of, “Not everything goes SG’s way, and yet he persevered... maybe I can too!”

I wasn't aware of SG's story until this thread appeared. I am so impressed by the strength of his character. Very inspirational read. I'd like to buy that man a beer if our paths were to ever cross.

SG,

If you feel up to it, I'm curious what is your current relationship with your wife? Did she end up with her boss? Did you guys reconnect? There were a ton of posters on your thread trying to help you, if you're up to it, I'm sure everyone would appreciate an update.
