I'm betting the Navy is a bit touchy and under the gun these days with those ship collisions in the Pacific fleet that "loose lips" OM is going to be made an example of. I read the 7th fleet commander got relieved just a few weeks before his planned retirement. I bet there's a lot if CYA and sacrificial goats getting pointed out.

Well Chelsea Manning was sentenced to 30 years for divulging classified info....

Now....not saying POSOM is likely to get hammered that hard...Manning's case was far more public and involved more sensitive info....but the charge will be the same if the Navy pursues it with a formal court martial....

And the OM had best be VERY worried right now.....

There has been an absolute 'war' going on in government and the military against whistleblowers and leakers of classified information in the government for the past several years....

The powers that be are really going after individuals letting slip classified info right now....

After what I have been through I hope they do hit him hard. Nothing would please me more than to be called as a witness at the court martial to watch him squirm and try to wiggle out of this. Can't wait to see the look on her face when he goes down as well. Maybe she'll feel a little of what I have the last two months

I would certainly follow up with the chain of command to make certain it was received, but for the purposes of is advising you let's assume OM exposure is complete.

Really haven't thought it out yet. Exposing her to all the people she lied to me about for starters. Filing the D, Filing Ch13 to save what's she's wrecked. Taking care of the kids.

Yep. This whole thing is bizarre. Mad as hell Monday because I came back now it's as if nothing ever happened. The only difference is I'm not sleeping in my bed. Doesn't make any sense to me. I feel like I'm missing something. Something is up, whether it's as some say she's going to try and sex me up to get what she wants or she's mentally ill. I have no idea. I know it's driving her nits that OM isn't liking her Facebook posts as much as he did. She spent a lot of time last night checking..... lol

And I sent the ones where he described the computers, crew compliment, how long they went out, stayed submerged, where they went, down to how long the air was good for. So he fucked himself.

This of all that's happened is what is going to nail him. As an E-7 the local command can't touch his rank, but they could do a review panel after the investigation to administratively reduce his rank, doubtful. BUT, the fact he not only told your wife that stuff, he was stupid enough to put it in writing. That's going to cost him his clearance, hence his career.

I doubt anything will happen to him other than a letter of admonishment in his record. I've seen people do worse without too many repercussions. He will certainly NOT be discharged. He MAY lose any clearance (not sure what clearance an E-7 has?)

HOWEVER, it will wound his reputation. No one likes to get reprimanded, he'll be embarrassed.

I'd go scorched earth, and have my congressional delegation at the ready.

I have written letters to his family, her friends. And some others detailing this affair. I plan on mailing all of them in the morning. If it wouldn't cost her job, I'd also tell the principal at the school she works at. She works in the admin offices, and actually used her work email to get the plane ticket confirmation e mail from OM. The Navy got sent a file with all the texts in chronological order, pictures he sent in various uniforms, call logs, FaceTime logs, the whole bit. Information that was particularly relevant was high lighted and tabbed. If I could post pics on here I would. Took a week to put it together. Hopefully it was worth the work.

I think it's a clear case of him telling her to "act" like nothing is going on because he is being investigated at work. I don't think she will try to sex you back... because in her mind they are just laying low for a few weeks. She doesn't want you back she just wants things to run smoothly until they can be together again. She doesn't realize how much his command knows or where they got the information. When she does, and goes ape S---... you should steer her toward the apt she rented but keep the kids here with you.
