Gemmy
Really glad You relieved Your children of any guilt or responsibility they might feel.
I think my WW only married me because her parents liked me, her heart remained with OM.
Oddly her cheater Dad liked me for her beautiful daughter. Perhaps Your Father in law was a cheater and hence why he condemned You out of support for his tribe

Separating from parents is too difficult for some people. At one point in our first years of parenthood, I was in a sitch that made it clear I had to choose my W or my parents; I could not please both. I did not like having to make that choice, but I knew I was facing the choice.
Your W doesn't seem to realize she needs to choose your over her parents. You might tell her she has to choose you and impose consequences on her mom and dad, if only to tell them to stop attacking you or risk loding contact with your kids.

You don't have to like your boundaries. You just have to set and enforce them.

Her comfort is more important than her children.
I’ve said it before, you’re not dealing with just a selfish cheater. She has something else much worse going on.
